Costume Call!

Players. I will be cracking down more and more on in game
costuming. The rule is, that if you don't have proper costuming
for your race, you don't get racial abilities. Bear that in
mind, and do your best to get some costuming.

ME.[/glow]
This larp is pretty dang well off money-wise, and we would LOVE
for players to ask us if they need help for game related
expenses. You can post on this thread or you can private message
me on Facebook. JUST LET ME KNOW.

My costuming is solid, but I need to get ahold of a core to make
a new staff that is better suited to this LARP. Chaser mentioned
having a line on some suitable cores, the goal being something
as light weight and solid as bamboo that comes in 6-7 foot
lengths.

Honestly, I'd just use 3/4" PVC pipe. I know its not pretty and
its pretty wobbly but its super cheap. Beats paying $16+ for a
carbon shaft that's long enough.
But another option if you're looking at the expensive route is
marching band flag poles.

I've tried wobbly before, I'd sooner stick with the one I've
got. It isn't pretty, but it doesn't wobble. The marching band
poles advertise their flexibility as well. I guess I'll have to
track Chaser down and ask what he thought could do the trick,
since good quality bamboo is a pain to find.

I have noticed that there are rules regarding costuming and
receiving Armour bonuses, however I didn't see anyone save 1-2
people who were phis repping Armour, and still receiving bonuses
for it, is it just assumed everyone has Armour, or will people
be required to phis rep it at a later time? I ask this
because I saw some metal armour that I quite liked and was
thinking about purchasing, but if I dont have to to get the
bonus its probably not worth it.

Until recently the game hasn't been enforcing armor rules much.
Now that the game has been active for a while I think that will
change. As far as the armor section in the book is concerned,
the bonus for metal armor is only for your physically rep'd
value, not what your armor tag is worth. For example, my chain
mail is worth over 40 AP because it is metal and relevant to my
character. If I was wearing a 35 AP armor tag though, I'd still
only be wearing 35 points.

Is their a place that describes how many points you get for
various armors? I want to see if the padded armor I wear is
worth what I can wear.
