       August 2017 Game History

       Game Summary August 2017
       Town Crier: The “Grand Heating” naive was apprehended and his
       bug slain by our brave guards. A few hours with the unnamed mage
       and the crazy woodworker he was begging to be sent to the mines
       or for a cell. This month the peasants have forgotten their
       place in society and have raised their collective voices against
       the steward’s limp rule and his menagerie of Dark Elven and
       Sauran advisors and close friends. The ship that had been
       sitting on our shores for the past few months has been taken by
       the Dark Elves that our current steward let in the town and
       placed under his protection. The guard who escorted the elves
       was slain and thrown overboard. Is this war or was it an act of
       passion? Ask the Steward. Our food problems, for the time being,
       seem to be over. The crocodiles are boots, and the bugs have
       receded. Let us all hope for a mild winter and a strong Autumn
       to replenish the grain stores. Alik Aleks has been escorted back
       into town. Apparently, he wouldn’t sing even in order to save
       his own life. Luckily, he’s back in town and sitting down with a
       cup of ga’ave to explain how finances work to our steward. I’m
       sure he needs it! The steward has locked away a group of avian
       hating farmers. They assaulted one of the steward’s close
       allies, the bird man, not the raiders. The farmers claim that
       the bird man is the reason for all of the chicken attacks of
       late and that it was trying to eat their minds as the dark elves
       taught it to do. Speaking of chickens, a little necromancer girl
       was playing with two ghost chickens from last month. She was
       slain along with her pets. Was she the source of the chicken
       problems? While on the topic of necromancers, a legal one named
       Pluto of JMP inc. rolled into town today. Tales are that he is
       looking for some special components for an enchantment recipe
       and that one of his skeletons is looking for another talking
       skeleton that has been causing issues.
