May 2017 Game History

Here ye, here ye, for the May 2017 Game History!
House Fiona and friends were summoned to the docks to deal with
consequences of their actions from a month ago. All left alive.
Zardon the soul reaper escaped justice yet again. A possible
bounty will be placed on his capture/field execution along with
any whom aided him.
A group of adventurers successfully captured a Corgi that had
previously escaped. Rumors of a Dire Boar roaming the farmlands.
Nobles are considering a Grand hunt next month. *those with the
hunter skill are being requested to lure, and ‘prep’ the boar
for the nobles hunt.
It was rumored that Lars the Sauron was to be wed. However, none
have seen his blushing bride. Skuttle butt says he murdered her
in the marriage bed when she failed to do his twisted acts of
his sick religion. You know how Saurons are.
A group of adventurers stumbled upon burning babies and goats.
Beset on both sides they … did stuff and things… Rumor has it
they are looking for a girl that was there. Obviously to check
on the child’s mental health after witnessing such horrible
things!
Two groups of adventurers were attacked by a pack of wolves.
They managed to slay one, the other three fled to a local farm,
killing livestock before they met their death in their sleep
after eating a prized milk cow.
Stick the goblin is rumored to now have a mangy mutt pet.
Fitting for the helpful little goblin. Further rumor is that he
does not get along with others of his kind. I guess they don’t
like productive members of society and prefer knuckle dragging
dregs.
BESET by beasts! Caliban the merchant trader has been confirmed
dead. All goods currently lost much to many’s disappointment.
Local merchants wonder who is going to take up Calibans trade
route, and how his now lost orders will be filled. It’s possible
that the local guilds could begin to up the pay for merchant
guards, and successful runs if the bandit problem is not solved.
Or perhaps a bounty on bandits? Those above YOUR paygrade are
discussing it. However it is doubtful anything will benefit the
peasantry… because you know.. it never does. The town a few days
south of Illingrad’s court Wizard is rumored to be VERY annoyed
at Calibans shipment loss.
Little Timmy was recovered from another of his grand adventures.
During their off days, other children are now considering the
life of an adventurer, due to the fame and fortune Timmy has
(supposedly) amassed. The tale of Bears and his rescue and
friendship with the new Squire of the town is the talk amongst
the children of the area.
Those damned fool Grand Burning folks are at it again. Setting
the town alight with their idiocy. Thank the heavens for
Droopycock’s quick reaction time and execution of one of them.
Damned those Yeomen adventurers for not catching the rest of the
cult.
The merchant Alik has gotten his fix… however, how long until
the next shipment is delayed or does not make it to the poor
addicted fool? Something has to be done to protect the merchant
Caravans!
Something about a huge skeleton chicken? I hear DroopyCock (Drew
Peacock) took care of this. That guy knows how to handle a cock!
A band of bounty hunters came to town to collect on the satyr
bounty, with 5 heads as proof. They were all the wrong satyr,
though, so the guard Marco gave them a little silver for their
trouble. The new dwarven guard quickly raised the heads onto
spikes. Sir Wladamir later ordered that they be removed.
A group of adventures returned the Biologist Bruce… who most
likely was lost in the woods for months. He is recovering at the
temple.
An Ogre was found stomping around… He’s still out there…
Feasting on Goats if rumor is correct. What happens when he runs
out of goats?!?!
Bleeding spiders… Dear lord.. not spiders! Fortunately, it has
been rumored that all of them have been vanquished by the very
helpful Droopycock and his gang.
The guards went to a local farm. The farmlands is riddled with
rumors on why. Inquiring minds want to know.
Un killable chickens? What necromancy is this? Is Zardon
responsible? What is happening to our quaint little town!?!?!
Squire Ivan Peligrad, accompanied by the Sauran Lars and others,
came across a zombie and skeletons guarding a chest in the
farmlands. Upon defeating the undead, the chest latched out
after the adventurers, revealing itself as a mimic. Ivan was
able to defeat the monster.
