       Skill plus and Stamina

       I love the way Forgotten is doing their stamina.
       I feel that skill plus should be 5CP and stamina should be 1 cp
       PER.  That allows those that want to be damage monsters to go
       that route, and those that want to be skill monsters that way.
       Allowing for better customization of characters.
       Also, this would reduce the cost of Strength plus and Con plus
       to be more in line with those (5CP)
       Skill plus will grant additional damage PER, and also grant
       access to special attacks and defenses
       Strength plus will grand additional damage per, and also grant
       higher carrying capacity.
       Con plus will grant additional body per level, and also grant
       good beads for rez.
       Stamina will become just fuel for special attacks and defenses.

       My only problem with this system is that it nerfs Master and
       Grand Master Skill Plus.  Unless we also implemented the Skill +
       as across the board combat skill.

       I would like to see a full write up. Like what does it cost
       other classes. And Sach is right, how would the master and
       grandmaster skill plus work? I'm not opposed to changing it and
       have actually thought about way to make it where you could buy
       straight Stamina.

       Valid points.
       Suggestion 1:  Remove Master skill plus, and Grandmaster skill
       plus.  Making it be simply skill plus, and if you have the
       weapon proficiency you get to apply your skill plus to it.
       Grand Master and other weapon skills would remain the same cost.
       suggestion 2: drop the cost of grand master/master skill set 5
       cp across the board to reflect the stamina loss for the skill.

       Is there ever a situation in which someone would buy more than
       1-2 points of damage and then just stack stamina? I've played
       for many years in many different games, and swung anything from
       1's to 16's, and I've not been in a situation that wouldn't be
       better served having more damage then stamina

       I think that statement answers itself.  As this allows folks to
       customize their characters better.
       want someone who swings 10?  Go for it.
       Want a stamina damage monkey?  go for it.
       Either way, the CP cost becomes the limiting factors.  You want
       to have 50 stamina?  100? go for it.. but good luck doing
       ANYTHING but that.
       We see it now where the fighters NEED to bring folks with them
       to HARVEST what they kill... because they are murder monsters,
       not harvesters.

       I tend to like the system better because warriors, like mages,
       can choose to be the kind of warrior they want to be. Being a
       special attack and defense character isn't tied to damage output
       and damage output isn't tied to the skills and stamina. Also as
       Matt points out it frees up character to have more that just
       combat skills if they are a combat character. I wouldn't say I'm
       100% sold on it and possibly some tweaks could be made but I
       tend to like that system better then the one we currently have.
