The city is sill on high alert after recent demonic activity,
though reports showed that the activity is somewhat lessened
from last month. According to Erida, the Master of Death, who
came to our realm last month, it appears that Set, the mother of
demons is gathering her armies for a final attack on our world.
Besides that rather horrifying message, this month was rather
eventful.
The exiled Benhart of Jugo made no return, though reports how
that he is suspected of summoning a massive moth creature that
was tearing apart much of the forest. The Hoplites and quite a
few other noteable heroes such as the Knight Tetsuyo managed to
slay the beast even though it showed some quite unusual fighting
tactics.
The Hoplites were quite busy as usual, especially since it was
announced that the Knight Gilliam Longlance was up for a rank
advancement to Knight Commander. Longlance led his men into
battle, taking on cultists, demons, minotaurs, and later in the
night, a group of vicious werecreatures. Gilliam faced any
challengers willing to fight him in the arena as part of his
rank advancement test and emerged victorious, granting him the
coveted title of Knight Commander.
A local monk and a handful of others made lots of headway in
clearing the barony of enemies by using some sort of magical
door to quickly travel facefirst into trouble. They not only
took out musical orcs, harpies, more demons, a stirge nest, and
most importantly, assisted Reggie from the Joyful Bottle in
restoring his stores of ale.
In such trying times we simple citizens must express our
profound thanks for all those that serve to keep us safe in this
great barony. Our knights, our squires, and even those brave,
unnamed yeoman who risk their lives to keep us safe. The barony
of Tarox thanks you.
