I noticed that there is no way to harvest Wood components as a
Forester does anyone think the levels for Foresters to harvest
wood should be put in by any chance?

You two are actually both incorrect. At level 5 Forester the
second listed ability is "Harvest Wood Components". This means
a Forester 5 can harvest Wood components of any level. This is
an edit that I personally made to the book last year.

Ok, if that is the case then I would like to propose that it be
like the other trade skills and denote levels at which the
player can obtain certain levels of Wood Components. This way it
will be similar to them.

Only Furrier and Miner are like that, though. Herbalist gets it
as Herbals, Magicals, then Specials.

I was just figuring that it would be better for Forester to
obtain them the same way as Miner and Furrier.

With as invaluable as woods are I don't think it matters a whole
lot.

I agree with Aaron, some types of woods are harder to find...and
more difficult to obtain (hard vs soft) or 'grows on side of
cliff faces' or 'needs' to have been soaking in the bottom of a
lake with a specific pH to age properly.
