Stamina Table

I hear people bring up the stamina modifier table a lot as too
complicated or perfectly fine. I think it benefits the game but
there are probably more changes we could make. One thought I
had was to combine some of the size categories. Options
include:
* One-Handed and Two-Handed
* Small, Short/Long, and Two-Handed
* Small/Short, Long, and Two-Handed
I haven't figured out all the kinks with changing it to that,
but it would remove two to three categories from the table and
simplify it a bit.
Another option would be to remove size modifiers all together,
leaving just the slashing/piercing/blunt modifiers.
Thoughts?

Much of this is 'purple/green' for me, though I think anything
that allows a Long Sword to be more effective of a weapon then a
Dagger will win my approval.
Some argue with 'balance' for giving fists a huge advantage over
swords in being able to machine gun/drum roll.
Ultimately after reading what Zach posted regarding European
Style vs American LARP makes me want to re-evaluate a number of
things based on what direction the Plot/Players want to take the
game.
The rule book is too big for new players, simplify where
possible in 'basic rules'. Far better to add the 'stamina'
reductions as special benefits that master weapons smiths can
bestow, giving something for people to put their money into but
even so keep an eye to balance. (perhaps no weapon with stamina
bonus can be Industrictble/Unbreakable)

I feel as though if you simplified this too much it could cause
weapons that normally wouldn't be too overpowered to be be
either way to overpowered or way too under-powered. Making too
few groups could cause weapons to gain benefits that might not
make sense or not have benefits (or disadvantages) that it might
give it the feeling of being that weapon. I mean if you want to
get rid of something, get rid of the skills that have 0 across
the board. I feel that takes up unneeded space in my opinion.
