November 2015 Game History
The day’s events kicked off with a cozy banquet held in the
baron’s reception hall. The knighting of Sirs Andre de
Montdesir, Gilliam Longlance, and Hageshi Tetsuyo went off
without a hitch. However, tragedy soon struck as baron Barton
lost consciousness while in private consultation with these new
knights. It has been reported that he is under the effects of a
powerful curse, the origins of which are unknown. Sirs Altes
Youghan and Ralph Crane are responsible for running the barony
in Lord Barton’s stead.
The Battlewise Hoplites, accompanied by Sir Andre de Montdesir
and Yashua’s Hand mage Dagmar, quickly took on the task of
addressing the problem of the mansion in the noble ring. It has
been reported that the basement contained a number of trials
capped off by the corpse of the mage who formerly owned the
mansion before his death. Sir Altes Youghan gives deepest
thanks to these people for handling this potentially dangerous
situation.
The gala of extraplanar nobility attracted a number of
interesting beings from various planes of existence. Those in
attendance mingled for a while before an extravagantly robed man
interrupted. Reports indicate that the man distributed some
strange items to the partygoers before sending them back to
their home planes. The extraplanar nobles indicate that they
will be in touch with some of the nobles from Tarox that
attended.
The leader of the Concerned Womens’ Guild, Lilith Severina, has
been arrested in connection with the disappearances and
suspected murders of dozens of prostitutes and drunkards as well
as the destruction of property of over a dozen taverns,
whorehouses, and other places of ill repute. Investigation by
the Battlewise Hoplites and Sirs Andre de Montdesir and Hageshi
Tetsuyo is credited with bringing her to justice. The other
women of the organization are currently in custody and will be
questioned.
Gilbert the Enchanter extends thanks to the group that was
responsible for gathering the Hippogriff Egg that he was after.
Hauschlaten and his group made a few stops around the barony to
speak with notable noble figures and familiarize themselves with
the area. The group alerted the guards as to the presence of
creatures abducting peasantry. The guard is now on alert to
locate and deal with these creatures.
Seeking to put a final end to the darkness which formerly
plagued the barony and went on to cover the continent, Sirs
Andre de Montdesir, Giliam Longlance, and Hageshi Tetsuyo, along
with another Battlewise Hoplite called “Stabber,” attempted to
find the White Ring of Panthalia. The group was successful in
their search and it appears as though the darkness has in fact
been dissipated and some rifts in reality are said to have been
repaired.
Lastly, the rifts themselves provided adventure to those brave
or foolhardy enough to enter them. Encounters with dragons,
demons, sharks, and gods were reported. Jason Trident donated
the body of a huge shark he slew to the Rusty Pony Tavern where
it was feasted upon by the peasantry.
