       Simple Female costuming

       Hello everyone! I thought I would help out the lady
       players out there that may be struggling with getting a costume
       put together on either a very limited budget or on limited
       sewing skills.
       You've probably have heard of the infinity dress right?
       Well it is a very versatile piece of everyday wear that can also
       be a perfect larp costume as well. Don't want to spend money on
       buying an actual dress? That's perfect! Or maybe you don't want
       to ruin the current one you have. Completely understandable.
       This post is to send you to a link that shows you how to make an
       infinity dress along with some added notes of what I would
       recommend doing differently from the article. Make sure to read
       the notes before getting started!

       Notes:
       1)Where it says to wrap the fabric around your body and add a
       few inches: If I were you, I wouldn't bother cutting the width
       of the fabric at all. It looks more dramatic and saves time on
       unnecessary cutting.
       2) Where it says to add an inch the the piece of elastic: My
       only problem with adding an inch to the elastic is that the
       dress then becomes to big around the waist and would start to
       fall. I recommend to still follow the instructions though, but
       make sure to be prepared to ONLY take the elastic in. It's much
       simpler and spends less time on cutting.
       2) The 2 m long rectangles should be a LOT wider. The reason for
       this is if you follow what she tells you, you will get some
       lovely side boob going. So, in the area where she tells you to
       measure the front half. Do that, but add about 4 inches or more,
       then cut the rectangle in half. Or follow the instructions, but
       be prepared to wear a tube top underneath.
       And there you have it! Simple, and easy. You can dress it up or
       dress it down. Depends on what you like. Here is something I
       whipped up from some spare fabric I had. Sorry about the picture
       quality. The lighting wasn't really optimal.
