       The beautiful house that popped up in the peasant ring was
       investigated by a couple of brave adventurers. Reports say that
       it was the work of some kind of possessed dollmaker behind the
       sudden appearance, and after a strange battle, the house
       crumbled back to it's original state.
       A popular new drink is spreading around the city called Gah-veh.
       It has been introduced by a new merchant who appears to have 13
       wives and 42 children. A few adventurers supported this man and
       his extensive family.
       It appears that the treant that was wreaking havoc between the
       city and forest appears to have been taken down. Let us hope
       that this matter was fully settled.
       Reports have come from the forest that many creatures, including
       a handful of abeil, have been making their way towards the Grand
       Fir. The Baron is calling for those with good relations to the
       Grand Fir to keep an eye on the situation.
       The arena this month featured a fire giant who volunteered in
       order to find a strong opponent. The mage Atrox, known widely
       for his role in discovering the cure for the plague, decided to
       face the giant alone. In an impressive display of magical
       prowess, Atrox managed to defeat the giant before the creature
       could get close enough to even swing his weapon. Encouraged by
       the man's success, another group, including two squires, stepped
       forward. It appears as though they were unprepared with the
       sheer amount of damage the giant could cause with each swing,
       and they were unfortunately defeated after a grueling fight. The
       giant left, pleased at having found at least one person capable
       of "putting up a decent fight".
       The Order of Salem once again stayed busy, assisting many
       farmers and clearing out most of the farmlands of nasty beasts.
       This band of mercenaries are steadily making quite the name for
       themselves among the peasantry. They were also seen confronting
       the large armored chicken that was blocking one of the bridges.
       For now, the situation appears to be resolved.
       Another group that is making waves among the peasantry is the
       A-Team and some friends. This month, their most noteable deed is
       running off a large white dragon that was attempting to nest in
       the river. Tarox is very grateful for their assistance in
       removing this beast. This group also took care of some pesky
       demons that were- for one reason or another- digging a large
       hole in the western farmlands. We are unsure of what the foul
       creatures were doing there, but they have been slain, and that's
       what truly matters.
       Last but not least, the caravan for Helea left at the end of the
       day, taking with it a well-known mentor, Selerik. Wish him well
       on his annual pilgrimage.
