If this does pass I think it should be Skill +5 instead of +4.

I agree with Zach for if it does pass. Since that would mean
that you meet the skill plus requirements for all special
attacks and defenses.

I agree with Zach on this one, Beyond Skill +5 is probably the
best option as for teaching yourself

I really think it makes more sense for skill+1-4 to not require
a teacher and above that it does. Same with backstab +2-8.
Because it seems more plausibly that you can pick up a weapon
and train enough by yourself to pick up the skill plus but at a
certain point you'll have to go to a teacher to learn more
advanced things. That's what I would advocate going for instead
of the above.
