       How to make a simple boffer sword for Aldeon

       Here's a guide on making a simple sword for Aldeon.  It doesn't
       cover adding guards or fancy pommels.
       Materials
       Blue Foam (Ozark Trails camp pads, pick them up at WalMart for
       about $7)
       Pipe Insulation Foam (The best is found at Johnson's Hardware on
       Leverette, but pool noodle works well enough also)
       1/2" or 3/4" PVC pipe (diameter varies depending on the size of
       the sword.  Anything greater than 55" should be made with 3/4"
       PVC)
       Grey Duct Tape (I prefer 3M brand but the Max Strength Duck
       brand works well also.  The metallic silver Duck brand tape
       holds up well too.)
       Alternative colors of Duct Tape (The handle should be a
       different color than your blade.  Black is generally used
       because it looks nice and is readily available)
       1.  Determine your desired weapon size.  It is generally best to
       go with the longest size available for the weapon class you're
       making.
