Toxin Block

Stamina based special defense for Poisons
Pre requisite : Skill +2 or Strength +2
4 Cp to buy
3 Stamina to use - Puts it even with the cost of Divine resist
poison.
This ability allows the character to resist the effects of one
alchemical, magical, or natural poison once per day for each
time the skill is used. This ability is announced “Toxin Block”.
This one makes sense to me, using raw stamina to overpower a
Poison. Thoughts?

I assume this is called as an active defense versus a poison
within the standard 3 seconds after the poison is announced and
would begin to affect the user. This definitely should not
allow a person to call this skill while being affected by the
poison (no ending a poison's effects prematurely) since that
would be too good in my opinion. The only issue with the skill
as is (and not hypotheticals)is that traditionally the character
point cost for a Warrior is the same as the stamina cost for a
skill. I would prefer if this were true for this skill as well.
I don't know whether it would be better to increase the stamina
cost or decrease the character point cost.

Yeah, it would be an active call, such as stopping a command
gas, or sleep, ect withing 3 seconds. But im with you on weather
it should go up or down. I would say that 3 would be fair and
just do not include modifiers just like spell block.
Basically it will be just like a divine resist poison.

I'd say that's fair, especially with the differing cost
efficiency of gaining stamina through Skill Plus, Master Skill
Plus, and Grandmaster Skill Plus (and their equivalent
backstabs). I'd probably advocate making it the same cost for
Rogues since it's kind of their shtick.

I think that Monk cost should be 5 instead of 6 due to the fact
that Monk skill costs, at least initially, were determined by
averaging the costs for every other class. In this case they
all add up to exactly 30 which divides by 6 to become a clean 5.

Thats fine with me. Do we see any other problems with the skill?
Any Hypothetical situations that could cause issues that stick
out?
