The day began in Tarox with the nobles offering a substantial
reward for any party that could stop the yodeling that had been
echoing through the city for two weeks. After figuring out that
the fountain in the Merchant district led to a collapsing cave,
a group of heroes consisting of the Hunters of the Silver Cross
and Order of Salem saved Barry the Bard and Silv the Sellsword
from a group of kobolds. The rescued bard has also been kindly
requested to not sing for his entire stay in Tarox. After two
months of having lost his crystal ball, Farsi Ramla the Fortune
Teller has finally been able to recover it and will resume
business. He will only be available during the Spring and Summer
seasons. His services also include Parrot Astrology and
Alectryomancy. After many nights of Terror, the animated
vegetables have finally stopped. The Hunters of Silver Cross
have been given many thanks for breaking the enchanted table
that had caused this strife, and the Citizens of Tarox shall be
reminded once again to not steal from neighbors, no matter how
delicious and plentiful the harvest may be afterwards. This
month, the Mansion contained a forest that was housing a pink
Unicorn. After a confusion of swords, prancing, frozen dairy
products, arrows, and a bear, the beast was slain by The
Sunshield Company plus friends. The arena this month consisted
of a skill challenge, testing mental might, dexterity, and
accuracy with a bow. The victor was the local Mentor Selerik. Be
sure to congratulate him! The Order of Blood Oath is under heavy
watch, though details have not been released to the public.
However, this month they spent quite a time helping local
citizens. Local enchantress and seller of enchanted items, Nana
Gran, caused quite a ruckus until the Order came across her, and
it appears they stopped a thief that had stolen her cane. One of
the members was seen acting as if he were an elderly man until a
short while after. The Order also came across an unfortunate
alchemist that had spilled her alchemies on herself. With the
help of local alchemist Cassandra, they assisted the poor girl
and returned her to her grandmother, Ramona Downs.
The forests are once again silent of children's cries, and
travel is once again safe. However, citizens should be wary of
the active foliage this season. After a certain scholar lied to
TAPS (Tarox Association of Plant Scholars) about receiving a
living mushroom for research within nightfall, the position for
a new Plant Scholar for the division of Magical Quantities is
now open. Another magical attack occurred in the forest this
month, and the survivor was helped by the Hunters of the Iron
Cross. According to the survivor, a solitary witch is the
culprit. Citizens are advised to keep a close eye out.
The crying in the Farmlands has stopped and farmers have been
able to resume caretaking the crops. Reports have shown that a
man had tricked a mixed group of adventurers into getting him a
potion that would turn him into a woman. This was determined to
be a lie when he turned into a Marrash, and was quickly
demolished by a bear that was travelling with the group. Another
group of adventurers helped a local farmer who was determined to
believe that one of his goats was actually an evil
shape-shifting creature. His suspicions proved true, and the
adventurers destroyed the Malaugrym that had disguised itself. A
new group calling themselves the A-Team (and some friends) made
quite a splash in the farmlands this month. They not only
assisted local children that had lost their jugger ball to two
pesky foo-dogs, they helped a local farmer with pixie troubles,
killed a minotaur disguised as a bull, helped a farmer whose
mind had been controlled by a Blue, and managed to take down a
large bandit operation. A noble by the name George Pieon had his
ship stolen and taken over by bandits claiming to have won it in
a game of cards. Distracting the group, one of the group members
was able sneak around and dispatch the bandits with a single
       spell.
