Light machine guns

Anyone got any advise on light machine guns - the good the bad
and the ugly
Ive been an airsoft player for 5 years but never had a LMG so
any tips would be much apreciated

To be honest you might as well get an assault rifle with a drum
mag because there is no difference in performance. :)

the difference is... is that an M249 is soo awsome looking
compared to an AK or m4

I have never used one, but I have to agree with the fact that
they are heavy and cumbersome to use for what is effectively a
standard version 2 AEG with a huge mag!

Its an excuse to have a box mag without other players calling
you a highcap hero :P also if you go for the a and k one then
the motor is mounted horizontaly inside the gearbox, meaning
that it doesnt overheat as quickly, anybody who thinks
otherwise, think about it logicaly and if you failed science at
gcse then god help you in understanding this! Plastic is an
thermal insulator, metal is a very good thermal conductor, also
heat rises, so the more surface area facing upwards the better,
and by surrounding it with alot of metal, it acts like a heat
sync, dissipating the thermal energy elsewhere. also the a&k/ca
gearboxes are hench so good luck breaking them, and before
anybody starts slating the compatability they are compatable
with v2/m4 parts. Other than that, it does help to compensate
for your small penis which is obviously why i have two of them,
a g&p and an a&k, the g&p however has its motor in the grip
which doesnt do well for the overheating, but its only twice
been a problem for me. I mostly use the G&P because it is
currently set up at a sane rof which doesnt overheat too quickly
and it feels alot nicer, the a&k one i use rarely as it was more
of a how fast can i get it? Project but when i do use it, it is
great fun and deffinatley keeps heads down! Which is what you
should be using it for.

Let's face it, who doesn't want to wield a mini gun or m249?
Not sure about the value of owning one. But if u play airsoft
long enuf at some point I'm sure you'll add one to your arsenal.
I think it's also down to budget, as I'm sure the performance
isn't any better than a revved up v2 rifle...plus who wants to
carry such a heavy gun all day? You'll either end up camping or
getting tired, and annoyed, or both.

Yeh the only class of gun I dont currently have is a light
machine gun
And i think going with the M249 MK2 will be a good first
addition to my kit
Im rather small and worried its going to way alot.
I think i will take a look at it in shop before I make the final
purchase

I lifted up the G&G full metal, Ebr, what ever it's called,
bloody heavy, but a nice pc of kit, hence a lmg for those days u
just wanna camp out....

ive got a M240 (Trigger Happy Version) and its so reliable and
it has a high rate of fire and its works like a dream.

what LMG is it that you can turn the fire rate up and down by
twisting it on the barrel ?
anyone know. i remeber seeing it on a youtube video review
i think it was red wolf airsoft that reviewed it
