This is just my mini review of this unit (my very first review)
so forgive if I've given you more questions than answers
regarding this sniper rifle, heh heh...

The .408 Cheyenne Tactical is based on the .400 Taylor Magnum,
which is based on a modified .505 Gibbs, necked down to 0.408
inches (10.36 mm). The .505 Gibbs is an old English big game
cartridge that was designed to accommodate 39,160 psi (270 MPa)
pressure. One of the disadvantages to these old cartridge cases
intended for firing cordite charges instead of modern smokeless
powder is the thickness of the sidewall just forward to the web.
During ignition, the cartridge's base, forward to the bolt face,
is not supported. The case is driven back against the bolt face
which results in the stretching of the case, particularly the
sidewall immediately forward of the web. When the sidewall
resists the outward expansion against the chamber, the pressure
stretches the case thereby increasing its length resulting in
the sidewall becoming thinner at that stretch point.
In the .408 Chey Tac cartridge case design particular attention
was directed toward thickening and metallurgically strengthening
the case's web and sidewall immediately forward to the web to
accommodate high chamber pressures. In modern solidhead cases,
the hardness of the brass is the major factor that determines a
case's pressure limit before undergoing plastic deformation.
Lapua Ltd. solved this problem when they used the .416 Rigby as
the parental case to the .338 Lapua Magnum. They created a
hardness distribution ranging from the head and web (hard) to
the mouth (soft) as well as a strengthened (thicker) case web
and sidewall immediately forward of the web. This method results
       in very pressure resistant cases.
       First Impressions
I bought this item from MY AIRSOFT SHOP (thanks so much sir opoy
for patience and discounts, heh heh). I've been waiting for this
item for 4 months since I ordered it so when the shop sent me a
text message telling my rifle arrived, I think, all my stress
that day from the office have vanished immediately. Since my
location is too far from the shop, I still waited several days
before picking it up. When I arrived at the shop, I saw my unit
on display and was truly impressed by its beauty (and to think
its first of its kind to arrive here). I held it immediately in
my hand feeling its grip first (shoooottt! its very heavy!!!).
Color is great (Tan), finishing is smooth but what I really am
hoping to find is not there, the markings...
       Appearance/Disassembly/Parts/Accessories
Majority of the rifles composition is made using alluminum
alloy, from the stock to the tip of the muzzle, for structural
reasons I guess. The stock has a rubber buttplate and feels
solid, no wobble whatsoever, unlike my previous Kart M14 EBR. No
seam lines visible except for the thing at the bottom of the
snipers grip, and the finish is overall decent and near perfect.
The unit can be divided in 2 parts for easy transportation. Just
unscrew the lock from the back end of the front assembly, pull
the circular pin located at the lower part of the front handle,
give it a twist clockwise and voila!
The grip looks comfortable and feels good to hold. I'm using
       sniper's grip in my MB05 and S-System but this one's a bit
different to hold. The sniper's grip in my S-System is a little
bit smaller and the MB05 grip is a little bigger than this. It's
made using nylon fiber with different texture than the other
       two.
At the middle part of the stock is a screw for the cheek piece
adjustment. Just loosen it then pull the cheek piece up. Here's
the view with the adjusted cheek piece:
The butt stock can be retracted by pressing its lock located at
left side of the rear assembly. You can also pull the butt stock
       all the way out.
