KWA B&T MP9

KWA Mp9' no foregrip version.
GBB, 48 mag, out the box 370 fps!
Now I bought this gun from the site shop at The Mall. Obviously
with intent to go loud. I was told it would be fine, but it
failed the chrono miserably. I wasn't impressed, but, that was
down to an over zealous retailer. Enuf said.
Whilst at The Mall, has the usual experts advising to try some
different types of gases to bring the mp9 into site limits.
Needless to say that didn't work. Only fix was to purchase a
flute valve that would reduce the fps to 320. Only place
selling was USA, part cost 18 USD, but with shipping added
another 50 USD. Darn expensive... Part arrived, my friendly
experts did the fix, and result, gun now fires within cqb
limits.
Now to the gun it self. It's made to a high quality finish, good
weight, and smooth operation. The GBB operation must be said is
awesome, factor of ten on the grin register, great kick back,
and awesome watching the exit port slide back and forth with
gusto...the accuracy is excellent, and for such a small weapon
probably better than most age carbines I've used. Needled to say
when first fired at 370 fps it turned heads.
I've now picked up an additional mag and intend to use as
secondary weapon, versus a pistol. As in two mags = 96 shots,
equating to roughly 4 pistol mags.. Additional mags aren't
cheating running at 50 GBP. Hence kinda expensive for most.
The gun has rails, top, side, bottom, so for u kitchen sink
fans, plenty of options for attachments. At present not much in
the way of upgrading the internals, inner barrel etc., but tbh
it's so well made, accurate, and reliable why mess with it? For
200 GBP its excellent value. Not to everybody's taste, but hey,
why follow the crowd?
Hope this has been useful. Only criticism is no after market
holsters available. B&T make a real one but let's just say you
could buy anger mp9 for the cost of it!!!!
