I've heard of lipos catching fire when they are in the gun and
not being used!

You should never leave a Lipo connected to a gun when not using
it as it will drain away damaging the cells
They should always be stored sensibly I keep mine in the
fireproof charge bag ;)

Before we go down the road of Lipos are dangerous remember what
it powering your phone.....Lithium-ion
But yeah lipos should never be left connected, i have a few now
that are dead because the charge dropped to low.
Only issue iv had is setting fire to the box mag motor as it
couldnt handle the 7.2 lipo :S

Yea agree on iPhone but that has software and circuitry to
maintain the battery!

i want to see the C02 styled weapons catch fire, just think the
damage that that will produce on itself and the guy holding
it...
