China Fleet Club, anyone else on thi site banned from the Bingo
sessions held there? Couple of us from 367SU were, we were
slightly tipsy when we arrived, we were thrown out for calling
HOUSE after just a couple of numbers were drawn. The Committee
then banned us from the Club for 1 month, and we also had to
write a letter of apology.. this was on the direction of the SWO
at 367 for our misdemeanour.

That is not very nice William as one of those Girls in the Red
Lips Bar was the love of my life.

Yes Ray. I have many memories of that time. Especially when
bombs were attached to the flag poles. Usually the first bomb
was defused ok but the second bomb...…
I sat on the wheel of a comet with a pick-axe handle and a field
telephone to protect the aircraft.
There was also the case of who pinched the catering sections
truck which I saw in the early hours of the night disappearing
off the slip way and stopped nicely balanced on its' side half
in/out the water.
(I was on yet another guard duty at the time).

Going back to Hong Kong in Feb after what will be a 49 year
absence, I always knew I would one day.
