       Single Aircraft

       I have for a while felt that the single aircraft modifier could
       be done away with. Usually you were either a flight to begin
       with which is a severe handicap, or you are so badly shot up
       that you are in big trouble anyway. In the latter situation, I
       almost never remember to use the mod. In the few scenarios it is
       relevant (I can think of only Three Days of Greif and Malta
       Recce), it causes more problems than it solves and excluding it
       (as was done in Greif) helps the scenario.
       Wouldn't it be nice to get rid of a combat modifier and a large
       part of a paragraph?

       I see where you're coming from, and it's very tempting to wield
       the knife on this one, but I'm not quite prepared to drop this
       rule yet.
