I worry that this is creeping to the point where every scenario
must have split limits. This could be a problem where we have a
shortage of real estate on the page, and then there's all the
       legacy scenarios. . .

Legacy scenarios are legacy scenarios, but the whole idea of
split limit is to have to avoid sifting through counters, or
wondering if it's ok to use a Dutch or Finnish buffalo instead
of a British Buffalo flight, even if it has a different name. Or
the scenario changes just because a future expansion adds more
Claudes. You need to be able to trust that if no split limit is
given, you don't have to do that, just go ahead and split. I
understand squeezing everything in can be an issue sometimes.
Zet has plenty of white space though.

I ran into the counter limit question on one playthrough. I had
to make a decision, so allowed both squadrons to split (so 4
flights on board). Didn't affect the results. The other three
       games it wasn't a factor.
Lee - I found an error on my report...
       12/3 Draw [9]
       11/4 Draw [7]
       13/3 Japanese victory [10] <----------------This is a DRAW,
       not a victory
       9/6 Chinese victory [3]
So that's three draws, and one victory. I had to work really
hard for that victory, BTW. Despite the lack of a Japanese
victory, the scenario feels slightly pro Japanese. Just
       slightly, though.
I like where things are with this scenario. I'll sign off on
this one (O-05). I've moved on to O-26.

Thanks, Dan. Now you've laid down a base of VP data to work
from, we'll let Scott pick things up with his test and we'll see
       where it takes us.

Will do. One thing I forgot to mention in my report above was
the nasty effect that Rigid Doctrine had on the Japanese. Since
in all cases they ended up late reacting or joining an existing
fight involving a bomber they always were the defender thus they
       always bore the negative modifier.

I suspect this will be a problem with a lot of these pre-war
scenarios. It may well come up against as a Conversation We Need
To Have about whether we apply it in certain battles.

I understand, but for now it is one of the many things about
these Origins scaenarios that makes this an interesting change,
esp having come from the Eagles scenarios.

Just to confirm: the I-16 ADC in dropbox is current? Basically
       asking as regards Edge.

       Scenario: Operation Zet (01/24/2019)
       Version: 0.1
       Playtesters: Scott Key, solitaire
Report: in this game the Chinese placed their vectors for
immediate head-on attacks. One squadron of I-15s had a height
error and then did not tally until turn 5 consequently it never
engaged the enemy (it would have if the game had lasted one more
       turn).
The Claudes flew close escort and both squadrons split into
flights as the game progressed. As this played out I think in
retrospect it would have been better NOT to split the squadrons
the negative modifiers in combat are not worth it and they break
       too quickly.
At the end of turn 4 a flight of A5M4s pulled the I-16s and a
sqn of I-15s into a dogfight and then down an altitude band into
broken cloud. The I-15s were the only units to maintain cohesion
(the weather modifier did the other two in) but never could
catch the bombers (as above, they would have given one more
       turn).
The I-16s inflicted one bomber kill and the Hawk IIIs inflicted
       the other.
Japanese: +4 vps fighters killed; +6vps good order bomber
       exited; +3vps disrupted bomber exited
Chinese: -3 vps fighters killed; -4 vps bombers killed
       Victory: Chinese
       Total: +6 vp

Recommendations: I really like this scenario I think it is
balanced. I am willing to sign off on it but could also play it
another time or two if you would prefer. I MIGHT consider
bumping the Chinese victory level down to +5. Obviously at this
size of a scenario a bad roll or two can make a big difference
but that’s ok, they balanced out in this playing. I am currently
for KEEPING the “no radio” cohesion roll modifiers as they are
but am still thinking it over.
