So the current target of 240 tests is something of a
finger-in-the-air estimate. Indeed, the original target was 216
tests, which we’re about to surpass.
Though the target number is something of a made-up goal, the
fact that we are close, and that we already have a substantial
number of signoffs, suggests is that we are now in the endgame
on testing.
What I need from everyone is a last push. For a few stalwarts
like Elias, Dave, Chris, and Kevin it would be good to start
looking at what scenarios you can focus testing off for signoff.
For the rest of you, any tests on scenarios that are not signed
off would be helpful. You may discover issues and at the minimum
you will give us more scoring data.
Hopefully the workload will be manageable for this final phase.
Every play counts!

If you think Target Madrid and Heavy Mob are ready for sign off
I will hit those this week. Let me know.

They're not ready for signoff yet, but need more test with some
fresh eyes. I'd prefer you look at some scenarios you haven't
played yet, Chris. Perhaps Laureate Crosses and Supermosca?

End, Week 21. A good handful of tests this week. Two more
scenarios marked off as good, and I’ve decided to mark Enter the
Zero as being done. As with last week, we are pretty much at the
point where we are beginning to focus attention to signing off
scenarios.
Note that Gordon and Andrew are moving back to doing another
pass on the campaign. That said, I’m hoping they will contribute
some more feedback on Target: Madrid soon, which they have been
testing recently.
Playtest Direction. The same as last week there’s only three
directions at present:
(1) Any scenarios in Amber need another test to get into the
green. Treat these as priority 1.
(2) Anything in green without a signoff needs a signoff. Please
test these with a view to either signing off or signalling that
further work is needed to get to a signoff state. Treat these as
priority 2.
(3) Anything with a single signoff could do with at least one
more signoff, so please check these out if you haven’t already
signed them off. These are priority 3.

End, Week 22. It’s been a really good week for test, putting us
in a place where all the board is green or blue. All scenarios
are in a state where, in theory, the worst kinks have been
worked out. In practice that’s not completely true. There are
some ‘problem child’ scenarios we are still wrestling with, but
still we’re in a place where we can say we’ve done the minimum
of due diligence.
As I noted last week, our attention is entirely focussed on
signing off scenarios.
By 'signoff' I mean that no further work is necessary, and you
believe it's good to publish in its current form. When I get
enough signoffs (ideally 3 or more, but we may end up going with
2) I'll mark the scenario as 'done' and in no further need of
test.

Unless there is anything with a higher priority, I'll go back to
Warsaw Concerto and Wasserkante to test those today.

Never mind - I saw that these have already been signed off. How
about Bomber Brigade (which I've played) and Wuhan Clan (which I
haven't)?

Just because they're signed off doesn't mean they don't need
more signoffs.

OK. But as long as there are some that aren't signed off, I
think I'll go for those first and perhaps come back to these
others. Thanks, Elias!
