I can see a lot of merit in clearly differentiating disruption
(minor cohesion loss, reduced effectiveness) & broken
(well...broken) in terms of bomber effectiveness. I'm influenced
a lot by phrase I remember from the contemporary Battle of
Britain narratives & RN reports of bombing attacks in the Med
where "bombers broken up by flak/ fighters (delete as
relevant...) bombing scattered & ineffective" seems to recur.
I can see an argument that flights in permissive conditions
might be more effective than the same number of aircraft in
squadron strength (& might help saturate defences in less
permissive circumstances) so a flight modifier of -1 is less of
an issue in my mind but I think broken should be at least -2 or
even -3....it is the outcome the interceptors really want to
achieve & the historical narratives rarely suggest bombers
aborting close to the target-they tended to persist & bomb
       (ineffectively) I think.
       Cheers
       Gordon

The trouble is, in bombing scenarios, broken rexults are often
hard to achieve, especially if there are few turns before
bombing. And if you, like in Kuban Meatgrinder, have 1 or 2
turns to attack the dive bombers before they bomb, disruption
has little effect and you have a really low chance of getting a
broken results, you ignore them and go for other targets.
If we get results similar to what we got with the halving, at
least the 14 bombing scenarios in Eagles is all we have to worry
about at the moment, as Lee says.

Ok, so with the new bombing modifiers for disrupted/flight and
Broken, am I correct in understanding that thy BOTH can apply?
For instance I had escorting flight that ran a strafing run on
flak and the barrage roll broke him. So during the resolve
bombing step, that would be -2 mod for being a flight and an
additional -4 for being broken for a total of -6 to the strafing
roll. Am I correct? This is what I believe the chart leads you
       to easily conclude.

Flight and Broken would stack, yes. Basically, a broken flight
       is not good for much.
Disrupted and Broken do not stack, because a squadron is either
       disrupted or broken, not both.
