If memory serves (always a risky preamble when it's coming from
me), some or all of the Israeli Spitfire IXs in the 1948 war
       were actually Mk XVIs.
There was a notable fight between some of them and RAF Spit
XVIIIs (XIV variant) and Tempest VIs toward the end of the war
in which the RAF suffered several losses. John Caraher has a FW
scenario for it in the feature on the '48 War he did in Air
       Power.

There's some noticeable absences from the late war Spitfire back
sides. In addition to the Mk.XVI, I think we should also be
lumping the important Mk.VIII in with the Mk.IX. The Mk.IX was a
shortcut that was taken while the Mk.VIII was in development,
but they both ended with fairly similar performance. And i
hadn't realised until I checked how many Mk.VIIIs were made. So
I'm going to fix this for the Supremacy ADCs.

       Lee,
Don't know if you got it as you didn't acknowledge but yesterday
I emailed you a file with corrections to the What ADC Do I Use?
section of the Supremacy playbook as it was woefully outdated
and I needed an updated one for my Eagles proof.

Oh, okay. I saw the post but haven't yet started work on
anything this weekend. I'll add it to my list o'stuff.

Okay, because I hadn't updated the ADCs since Vincent's last
round of feedback, I've just uploaded the latest versions today,
dated 17Mar19. These include fixes for tiny typos and issues on
the reverse of the cards. I'm hoping no more changes need to be
made, but it's always possible that Vincent will discover
       something. :D

Vincent sent me some ADC feedback with a few issues so minor
that although I have implemented the changes I won't update the
files on dropbox at this time.

I assume the SB will be included in the Origins kit. If so, I
would suggest updating the flavor text on the back to something
less Barbarossa-focused, as it features in Spain, Czechoslovakia
       and Finland in this pack.

While working on the ADCs, I decided to roll in the Tempest
Mk.II to the Supremacy Tempest Mk.V ADC. On reflection, the
differences in performance (the low altitude band would be one
level larger) were sufficiently tiny that I felt could ignore
them and get better bang for buck by just rolling them into one
       card.
If course, this won't appear in the game unless Supremacy is
       reprinted, but there it is.

So, the ADC files for the unpublished early-war and late-war
ADCs have been updated on dropbox, dated 28Jul19.
       (1) All the Origins aircraft have been removed from this and put
into the new Origins ADC file.
       (2) Some new aircraft have been added to the files:
       EARLY-WAR ADDITIONS
       IK-3
       Re.2002 Ariete
       LATE-WAR/POST-WAR ADDITIONS
       La-9
       P-51H Mustang
       P-80A Shooting Star
       F8F-2 Bearcat
       Sea Fury F Mk.X
       Hornet F.1

There's no hurry but I'd like to use the Northrop 8A.
Note that in Swedish service it should be rated for having dive
       brakes.
The Swedish air force dive bombed with everything. When the
engineers at Hawker found out Flygvapnet used Hawker Hart for
divebombing, they were terrified, but tve air force guys said
"don't worry, we reinfoeced the parts that looked like they were
       about to fall off".
I was at Flygvapenmuseum the other day. Didn't find any books I
needed but as I leafed through one of the books I found a story
of when Flygvapnet tested skis on the Gladiator. In the first
try, one ski fell off in a 90 degree dive (I have a nagging
feeling they wanted to dive bomb with it). The test pilot
decided he didn't want to ruin valuable test equipment by
bailing out, so he circled until the fuel was out to reduce the
risk of fire, then took account for the wing direction to land
at an angle where the wing without a ski got more lift. It
worked, he managed to glide on one ski longer than expected, and
the aircraft survived with minor damage.
