I have just uploaded a new Origins book to dropbox, replacing
the old 10Feb19 book with a new one dated 17Feb19. Please grab
       the latest.
Though the rate of feedback slowed slightly, we still have
       changes to the following scenarios:
O03 Warsaw Concerto - Fixed the German escort so that it cannot
       set up below the bombers
O10 Flying Fish - Added fix for small arms barrage on takeoff in
place of J0 flak rule; increase the threshold for G.I losses on
       take off
O11 Hunters in the Sky - Added fix for small arms barrage on
takeoff; adjusted the et-up for the sweeps
O25 The Great Raid - Altered Japanese set up to squash the
altitude levels down; altered victory levels; adjusted the
threshold for bombing hits to squadrons on the ground
       O26 Forgotten Planes - Restored the CR.32 set-up; Republicans
       regain a veteran
I have also done some fixes to the campaign, following Kevin’s
       playthrough.

So I have a few big jobs coming up this weekend.
       (1) I'm still waiting on final feedback to come from Karl, but I
plan to complete the remainder of the ADC back-of-card edits.
This is a low-prioity task since the Victories and Eagles ADCs
were done last weekend, but it would be good to clear this out
       of the way.
       (2) The main job this weekend is the edit pass on the rulebook,
now that I have Rick's re-indexing. That will be a fairly big
       and fiddlesome task.
       (3) The next effect of (1) and (2) is that I'll be posting up a
new rulebook and player aids publicly and asking CSW and BGG to
help with proofing. Of course, I expect the majority of proofing
to come from our ace guys Rick and Vincent, but I'll need you
all to help out, and it's possible the public might find one or
two errors. It's almost five weeks to go to delivery and this is
our last chance to fix the rulebook.
       (4) I will, of course, be reviewing the week's feedback and
issuing the latest update to the Origins scenarios.
       (5) Though it's way down the list, I haven't forgotten Pete's
example of play. If I can get to it, I will.
       (6) Who knows if I'll get to any aircraft art this weekend? I
       live in hope!

I'm working on the Index at the moment and I'm just in awe of
what Rick has done here. He's really given it a polish and
sparkle and you'll see it soon. Great stuff, Rick!

I have just updated all the ADCs on dropbox. These now contain:
       (1) The past week’s proofing feedback from Vincent on the
       Victories and Eagles ADC edits.
       (2) Vincent’s updates to all the remaining ADCs. All ADCs should
       now be consistent.
       (3) All of Karl’s remaining back-of-card blurb edits (at least,
       where I can accommodate them).
       (4) Some of the 1948 future-proofing.
Again, please proof these, particularly focussing on the
Victories and Eagles stuff, as that is closest to be printed. I
know Vincent plans one more quick pass. The problem with edits
is that for every five or ten changes I make, I introduce a new
       error.
Note that I shall be posting these to my website later today for
       public consumption.

Okay, I have just updated the Victories rulebook and the
       non-backgrounded player aids.
The main changes here are to the rulebook, and includes the
       following changes:
       (1) Rick’s reindexing. This includes some text changes to
accommodate new terms in the rules, such as ‘stacking’.
       (2) Rule 9.2.2 has had the escort-to-sweep section broken out
into a new subheading: 9.2.2.2. The index has been updated with
the change. Otherwise, no change to the written rule.
       (3) Rule 15.2.1 has had the bomber circling section broken out
into a new subheading: 15.2.1.3. The index has been updated with
the change. Some Eagles and Victories scenarios have been
updated with the new reference. Otherwise, no change to the
       written rule.
       (4) A new rule, 13.7.2, has been added to manage the small-arms
       flak during take-off.
       (5) Rule 9.5.5 has been rewritten for clarity.
We have five weeks to go before I deliver to GMT, so that’s five
weeks to proof this draft of the rules. With the exception of
13.7.2 there are no new rules or rule changes in this release.
All changes are tweaks to improve clarity.

I have just uploaded a new Origins book to dropbox, replacing
the old 17Feb19 book with a new one dated 24Feb19. Please grab
       the latest.
This has changes to the following scenarios:
O02 Operation Wasserkante - Poles are given a +1 determination
       modifier to cohesion
O04 Bomber Brigade - Removed German Green marker
O06 Wuhan Clan - Reduced 1-15 squadrons; dropped one Chinese
Green marker; moved bombing target two squares right; adjusted
       I-16 set-up
O10 Flying Fish - Adjusted the victory levels
       O18 Lees Trucks, More Balls - Culled number of ground targets;
added S0 flak to remainder; adjusted Nationalist set-up
O22 Bombers First - Adjusted victory levels

       I'm plumb tuckered out after a hard-working weekend. I'm
trusting that next weekend will not be so heavy.
       (1) The example of play is next on my list and I intend to start
work on that tomorrow, with a view to having feedback on the
       sample later in the week.
       (2) I'm talking to Vincent and Rick about how we are going to
proof the rulebook, given that we have five weeks remaining, but
we probably want to proof it in four weeks, leaving the final
week for a last pass to catch any odds and ends.
       (3) As you may have noticed I've posted the Rulebook and ADCs up
publicly and invited folks on CSW and BGG to feed back.
       (4) I did a drive-by shill for Victories and Eagles at GMT's CSW
       folder.
       (5) Next weekend I really need to try and do some aircraft art.
I'm not really behind on this, but I'd be happier with more
       under my belt.

I forgot to mention that next weekend I hope to be working on an
edit of the Eagles book and the Victories scenario book. I'm
just waiting on Vincent and Rick to deliver during the week. So
that should take up a chunk of my time.

Vincent's just delivered me his last pass on the ADC proofing,
though this one is really light and just catches a few typos.
I'll get that done this weekend, but this time I probably won't
update the files online. I want to wait until all the public
       feedback is in.

I have just posted two updated files to dropbox
       (1) I have posted the Victories scenario book. This incorporates
Rick's excellent proofing. So it's now ready for you and for
       Vincent to pick up.
       (2) I have just posted the Supremacy scenario book. This
incorporates Vincent's proofing for the What ADC do I use?
section, which he asked me to update this week. Note that I have
added some variants for the Spit IX and Spit XIV that you guys
cannot see on the ADCs just yet.
