As a quick aide memoire for myself of things to look at this
weekend:
- B-339D protection
- Avenger/TBF counters
- Custom Tirpitz target counter
- Send Polish scenarios to Maciek
- New Experte counters for Eagles
- Part 2 of GMT Inside Eagles article
- Ki-44 40mm gun and long-range gunnery
- Episode E03 revision
- Delete special rule 7 from E12 Meridian Counterattack.

After saying that I probably wouldn't post a new book this
weekend I reversed course, after Gordon sent in his feedback.
I’ve just replaced the 30 September Eagles book with a new one
dated 7 October on dropbox. Please go grab it.
The following scenarios have changed:
E14 Butcher’s Bill - Add an extra Green Japanese; tighten the
draw window; permit Japanese bombers to change altitude as if it
were a bombing scenario
E15 Fire in the Sky - Tweak to draw window; set left map edge as
the edge for both sides; and force Japanese bombers off the left
edge, even if RTB
E20 Operation Meridian II - Added split limits for the Japanese
(2 flights for each aircraft type)
E22 Mediterranean Melee - Moved one P-38 squadron from the
escort to the sweep.

No book posted up today. There wasn't enough changes to warrant
it. Maybe next weekend, if we get some more feedback in the
week.

dated 21 October on dropbox. Please go grab it.
Not much has changed since the last update:
E16 Battle Over Budapest - Adjusted victory levels; fixed a
graphic glitch; changed the flak set-up and restricted them to
barrage
E17 Kuban Meatgrinder - Reduced German veterans slightly;
shifted the draw windown in the victory conditions
E20 Operation Meridian II - Altered the setup

As I was off work, I got a bunch of stuff done today:
(1) Did a juggling exercise on the Expansion 3 content, which
I’ll talk about in the dedicated thread.
(2) Incorporated some feedback from the Poles into the Polish
scenarios in Exp 3, and the Polish ADCs.
(3) Updated a couple of the Eagles scenarios based on feedback.
Unless I start work on new artwork for Expansion 3, that’s
largely my weekend work done. I shall probably be releasing a
new Eagles book on Sunday.
Note I'll be having Gordon come to briefly visit next weekend.
Unsure what shenanigans that will entail, but bookshops might be
involved. . .

I have just updated the scenario creation document on Dropbox to
v1.5, while updating the ADC creation document to v2.2.
I have also updated the rulebook and scenario book, though there
are few changes from the previous 30 Sep 18 editions. the new
ones have a few small textual fixes preparatory to public
release. I'm going to ask for Vincent to do another proofing
pass on these. I'm reserving Rick to do a very late proofing
pass and reindexing when I have a production date on Victories.

It's another short work week for me. Gordon is visiting
tomorrow, so I want to take the opportunity to go over Desperate
Improvisation with him. Maybe get some tests in and a new
version up over the weekend.

the set-up slightly

So, I haven’t been doing a lot since last week. We’ve been very
much fixated on two scenarios. The 4 November Eagles book has
