I'm thinking the environmental counters should retain their
alt+left click selectability. This means they won't stack with
each other, which they don't need to do I believe. With the
alt+left click selection requirement you're much less like to
accidentally grab one, like when moving a stack to the Battle
       Display for example.
       What do you think?

[/quote]Tru dat, the Module has to be as fool-proof as
possible... let the simplest of users only move what they
should, to not destroy the scenario for their game.

Al, I need to free up some space in my dropbox. Can you please
go through the VASSAL section and clean out any old or archived
material that we no longer need? I don't know enough about the
files to be confident about making calls on these things.

Done. Did that free up enough space for you?

Indeedly it did. thank you kindly.
Because I'm too much of a skinflint to pay out for a full
dropbox account I use the free one, and occasionally the
contents go over the 2.5 GB limit, freezing it. So i have to do
       periodic clearouts.

Nothing wrong with skinflinx. And once the Layers Test is done
(soon) I'll delete that one too.

I've completed the testing of the additional layers as suggested
by Pete and have deleted the LAYERS TEST module. Now the
confusing part. I've rolled all the changes made in the LAYERS
TEST module into a new v4 module which has replaced the old v4
module. I moved the old v4 module into the archives folder. So
what does this mean for you?
If you had a game in progress that is using the old v4 module
       you have two choices
       1. Open the new v4 module, open your game, and refresh your
       counters:
       [attachimg=1]
In my tests this has worked fine however there is some carry
over goofiness with the stacking of counters on the main map. If
you encounter this, I'd recommend replacing each counter in your
game with the new ones from the counter tray, or
       2. Save the old v4 module and extensions (they're in the archive
folder) to your local system and use them to complete your game.
If you don't have a game in progress please use the new v4
module and let me know of any issues you discover.
Clear as mud? I do apologize for making this confusing. I do
plan on deleting the old v4 module in the next day or so. If you
need it after it's deleted, please let me know and I'll make it
available to you (same with the DRAFT 01 version as well).
To recap, if you don't have a game in progress, simply open the
v4 module and get your game on. If you do have a game in
progress, try to refresh your counters using the new v4 module
or save the old v4 module to you local system and use it to
       complete your game.
By Monday, there will be only one module version available and
all will be right with the world again.
       Have a great weekend.
       Al

       Hey Al,
Nice updates to the module! Thank a bunch!!!
       Few things though:
       1) Noticed that experte markers for Victories, Supremacy and
Eagles stack together but experte for C3i.29 and Blitz stack
separately. Looks like the first three are layered with Targets
and last two are layered with Aircraft.
       2) MS.406 markers window has two different pain schemes shown
for left and right facing squadrons/flights. The pattern from
other aircraft seems that they should show same paint scheme for
all facings while in markers window. Not sure how many others
may be like this but plan on doing a more in depth check when i
       get a chance.
       Pete

Good catches Pete. Fixed and posted the corrected core module
and Blitz extension. Should have no affect on games in progress.
Side note...excited to see your video content. Let me know if
you need something additional from the VASSAL module to assist
       your endeavor.

Okay another oddity (not huge though). You have the campaign
specific targets in BOTH the Markers -> Campaigns tabs AND in
the Targets -> Expansions Tab. Maybe for simplicity, the targets
should only be listed in the Targets root tab. Either way, I
noticed that the targets for Blitz campaign found in the Markers
-> Campaigns -> WL Blitz -> Targets list do not stack with other
Targets pieces nor can they be deleted once placed on map.
Eagles targets found in both locations stack with other targets
(and can be deleted) just fine though.
Also, not a huge deal, but for consistency sake the MS.406 in
counters window is displayed with Paint Scheme '2' . . . all
other aircraft are displayed with paint scheme '1'
       Pete
