Thanks for letting me help, Lee. Being in on This process will
help if I decide to design any more scenarios for submission. I
have a couple I’ve been slowly working on but they aren’t really
ready nor do they fit with future releases. Wing Leader is
really the only truly satisfying tactical game out there IMHO.
I’ll keep up with the forums here, if y’all need any more help
let me know.

I wanted to say I really appreciated everyone's effort this last
year, which has been, at time, difficult for me. The test
feedback has been of high quality and I think this is the best
Wing Leader product yet. Thanks again for everything.

Important!
I just posted the latest test status. Please go take a look. As
far as I’m concerned some two-thirds of all scenarios are signed
off.
Of the remaining seven scenarios only three need some more test.
The other scenarios are almost done and it would’t bother me if
we did no more with those. Which leaves us with three scenarios
that could do with a little help across the line.
I would like to move on from Eagles very shortly. The only
reason I haven’t yet called a halt is that I’m waiting on Gordon
to deliver his Malta mini-campaign for the third expansion. I
hope to have that in the coming weeks, or even days! As soon as
I’ve got Gordon’s stuff in my greasy mitts I shall ask everyone
to down-tools on Eagles and move on.
At which point a number of things will happen:
(1) I shall be telling GMT we are done with Eagles and ready to
print.
(2) I’d like the proofers to come forward (particularly Rick)
and perform a proofing pass on Eagles and the supporting
materials.
(3) I shall then lay out the mini-campaign and post up the Wing
Leader: Origins materials to dropbox for everyone to review.
(4) There will be a short review period for discussion and
comments on the Origins content, before we move on to test. At
this stage we might yet make changes, drop scenarios, add
scenarios and so on, before we do any test.
(5) I’ll prepare this site for test by setting up new test
topics and binning the old topics off to an archive.
(6) I’ll also prepare special layouts for Origins materials like
the ADCs.
I think that pretty much covers everything.

So, Gordon sent me his Malta mini-campaign today. At first blush
it looks really great. It’s basically a very light campaign
system, designed to generate no more than eight scenarios.
I’ve done no more than scan it so far, and I’ve asked Gordon to
send me a rough of the play aid (a status display). Now that I
have this in my hands It’s probably going to take me at least
ten days and maybe two weeks to kick everything into shape to
the point where I can post up the Origins material. So that 10+
days or so is the time remaining I’d like to allocate to testing
Eagles. Maybe a little more if there are any problem scenarios
we would like to do a final pass on.

Gordon got me a rough of the status display, so I'm all set. I'm
aiming to have a first draft of Origins for you guys to look at
by next weekend (12-13 Jan).
