Okay, so here’s the updated scenario status. You'll notice we
are up to a decent number of tests: 110 logged in all, and I
think there are a few unlogged ones. Of course, quantity does
not imply quality, but it does suggest we will have done due
diligence by the time we are finished.

Okay, so here’s the updated scenario status. It’s been a good
week, and as far as I’m concerned we have our first signed off
scenario. No need to test Meridian Counterattack further.
(Note: Since mid-September we have added 45 logged playtests and
gone from an average 3.5 to 5.6 tests per scenario.)

I have cut a couple of items from the priority list so that we
can move on to more needy scenarios. The current list of
priority tests is:
E04 Schlachtflieger (need to validate victory levels)
E07 Red Star, Blue Swastika (Elias is ready to sign off on this,
but I want someone else to give this a run-through)
E10 Rocket Men
E13 Desperate Improvisation (need Elias to give Andrew/Gordon’s
changes a validation test)
E20 Operation Meridian II
E22 Mediterranean Melee (recent changes)

When I next post an update, I'm going to start splitting the
priority list into two:
(1) Almost Done. Scenarios that have been tested and I believe
are at or close to signoff. So any tests are to essentially
validate the state of the scenario, and testers should indicate
'I'm ready to sign off' or 'I think this needs more work'.
(2) Need Signoffs. Scenarios that pointedly lack signoffs, or
clearly need more plays.

by rapporteur, not all the testers.

and allows us to sign off for good.

(2) Needs More Test. Scenarios lack signoffs, or clearly need
more plays.

E18 Zemke’s Wolfpack
E21 Operation Tungsten
I’ve taken Desperate Improvisation off this list for a bit. I
think we’re close to signoff, but need a bit of breathing space
before looking at it again.

I actually think Rocket Men as a scenario is actually fine as
is. What I have a problem with is the Komets, which still don't
feel right from the descriptions I've read. See separate topic.

Nothing much has changed since last week, so I won't post an
updated screengrab of the spreadsheet, though as an FYI over the
last couple of months we've been testing at a rate of 7.2 logged
tests a week.
Gordon and Andrew tell me they are moving onto Rocket Men next.

‘Done’ list until we can come back to it again and examine
Gordon/Andrew’s feedback.

I think you should keep a track on which of the bombing
scenarios have been tested with the new disr/broken mods as that
will probably affect the bombing results. My two Tungsten
playthroughs were done with the latest rule, and I and Pete are
currently doing Meridian II with them. You can probably mark up
mediterranean Melee too. As one of that scenario's problems was
the German inability to affect the bombing, the changed rule can
only benefit the scenario.
