WL:Eagles Test Status

Please Read This: This thread lists spreadsheets that show the
number of plays each scenario has had. It is a measure of test
effort. The 'Poor'/'OK'/'Good' rankings are not a measure of
scenario quality, but rather whether we have achieved a minimum
level of due diligence for a scenario. A 'Good' ranking reflects
at least five tests by two separate players or test teams.
If you are unsure what to test, play the lowest-ranked scenario
that you have not yet played.

In future postings of the status I am going to start tracking
where people have said "I'm completely happy with this scenario"
or "no further changes recommended" or some other indication
that they think a scenario is completed and ready to publish.
So far, Elias has signed off around five scenarios and
Andrew/Gordon have done two. I would appreciate more of these
kinds of votes as we go forward, so that if we have a critical
mass on a scenario we can sign it off and say that no more test
is needed.

I've added E04 to the list because though the scenario is in a
reasonable shape, the victory condition levels are not. I need
the data from another two or three tests to try and calibrate
this.
I've put E16 on temporary hold until I've fixed some basic
problems with it.

Okay, here’s the updated scenario status.
Note: The column to the right now marked who has signed off this
scenario and declared they are happy with it. The emphasis at
some stage will be on accumulating signoffs so that we can agree
a scenario is done and needs no more test.

Thanks. I'll mark those into the spreadsheet. You've now signed
off on 11 of the 22 scenarios. It would be good to get at least
a second, and possibly a third, opinion on those ones.

There’s been little feedback this week and therefore only two
changes:
E20 Operation Meridian II - Added split limits for the Japanese
(2 flights for each aircraft type)
E22 Mediterranean Melee - Moved one P-38 squadron from the
escort to the sweep.
In the circumstances, I won’t issue an updated book unless
someone demands it, and will wait to see what the next week
brings as feedback. I suggest incorporating the above-listed
changes into any playing of those two scenarios until I make
another release.

Okay, in addition to the changes noted in the last post, Gordon
dropped two AARs, which allow me to add the following:
E14 Butcher’s Bill - Add an extra Green Japanese; tighten the
draw window; permit Japanese bombers to change altitude as if it
were a bombing scenario
E15 Fire in the Sky - Tweak to draw window; set left map edge as
the edge for both sides; and force Japanese bombers off the left
edge, even if RTB

I’m hoping to see another test on Butcher’s Bill soon. The
