Wait until you see the next release. I am making some changes to
the set-up that push the targets leftwards. This will reduce the
exposure of the bombers before the attack, and allows me to
stretch out the arrival of Japanese reinforcements.

Sorry for being a PITA about this, but I still think you need to
specify a split limit of 0 for the Fireflies. No split limit
suggests all (i e the one) can split into flights, but I believe
there is only one Firefly flight counter.

I'll take a look at the weekend.
That said, I'm a little worried that when we start specifying
zero values, we are in the business of specifying limits for all
aircraft in every scenario that permits splits.

The way I see it, ideally you shouldn't have to shift through
the countermix to find out if you can split or not. If there is
no split limit listed, I would assume all aircraft in the
scenario are able to split. This isn't the case for the
Fireflies here, though. Also, every other fighter represented in
the scenario is listed, so it brings up questions why exacly one
is missing.

Scenario: E20 Operation Meridian II
Version: v0.6
Playtesters: Peter Wagner (Japanese) Elias Nordling (British)
Report: The Japanese placed all vectors high over bombers and
had leading fighters approach their vectors slowly to give rear
fighters time to catch up. The intent was to have all Japanese
fighters to make contact at same time to overload the escorts.
The Sweep and Escorts managed to tie up most interceptors, but a
few managed to get through to the bombers. British lost 11
fighters and 7 bombers. Japanese lost 14 fighters. British only
scored one bombing hit on the refineries. The bombers took
rather a surprise beating from the interceptors.
Victory: Japanese Victory
British bombing 1 VP + 14 enemies shot down for a total of 15
VPs
Japanese shot down 18 VPs
Total: -3 VPs, Massive Japanese Victory. The bombing was
terrible in part due to the new -2 disrupted bombing modifier.
Recommendations: The British will need to score around 12 hits
on refineries and have a positive kill exchange ratio for a win.
This seems very hard for them to accomplish currently.

Recent tests have shifted the draw window right down. So I have
dropped the VPs for a British victory by 4 and have trimmed the
Japanese quality a little, by losing an Experte and adding a
Green marker.
