v0.5 played, modified with an additional veteran ftr.
This time the German fighters were the lucky ones, with few
bomber losses, and they even had ammo to spare for strafing! At
least, the Soviets managed to disrupt a dive bomber, which was
then further broken by flak.
The bomber flights have to work for their hits, and only 3 were
scored on the Aux 1 this time round. 7 on the bunker, for 9
bombing points total.
The Soviets lost 10 fighters, to 2 Bf109, 2 Ju87G, 1 Ju87D.
Final score was 14, a German victory with some margin. The game
felt like an outlier for the Germans in air combat, with average
bombing results.
Since so much of the German victory margin was from a favourable
loss ratio, I tried to do the math to see what happened if the
Soviet fighters bugged out and the Germans picked 7 in bombing.
Flak makes things complicated, as does target selection, but I
think 11 bombing points should be the mean, for a German win.
Assuming the Germans lose no aircraft to Flak, and they will
take many shots plinking away at the ships.
Suggestion: Maybe dropping the VP levels one point or two, just
to be sure the Germans don't have to be lucky to win even if the
Soviet fighters don't show up.

Okay, I've added back the Veteran German and reduced the daw
window by 1. Your recent tests dropped the mean score to just
over 8, so I don't want to shift the draw window down outside
that range.
