This is a thread stub.

Three notes from a quick first look:
1) Any splitting?
2) The Typhoon has a reference for special rule 5. This looks
like an error.
3) I'm thinking the Germans might score more from attacking
non-city targets, like the flak and the Bloons, than the city
scores.

(1) I probably need to remove that special rule reference on the
Typhoon.
(2) At present there’s no splitting. I suppose a question for
you is whether the scenarios needs it or it works without.
(3) We have restrictions on attacking non-city targets with the
strafing Jabos. Do these need to be tightened further?

I’m not sure what the special rule reference regarding the
Typhoon is about, it’s not there in my original submission.
Could it possibly have been added by LBW in reference to the Ib
model of the Typhoon 🤷🏻‍♂️?
I originally designed this just for personal use many years ago
and had to “reconstruct” all the research for it when I
submitted it. A copy of Chris Goss’ book Luftwaffe
Fighter-Bombers Over Britain came my way and I was looking for
any WL compatible raids. I liked this one because the barrage
balloons played a big role. The big issue that arose (at the
time) was how to handle victory in a “terror bombing”
situation. At the time there were no scenarios with anything
similar. Went to BGG and asked and LBW suggested something along
the lines of the current version. sSince that time Scenario O16
has been tested and has something similar for victory.

Scott, Yes, it's good stuff. I think it's valuable to have
"official" WL scenarios that exercise the various corners of the
rules like barrage balloons and the fighter-bomber rules in this
case (or rain, or Me 163s, or taking off, as appropriate).
Fighters at low altitude are fun. Fighter-bombers are fun
because of the additional tactical options. My impression is
that scenarios with fighter-bombers offer good replayability.

Two more things:
1) The cloud setup looks kind of dodgy, with one overlap.
2) With all those dense clouds, even if the escape rules are not
allowed, as special rule 3 seems to imply but doesn't state
explicitly, the Germans can just slip into the dense clouds once
done with the bombing and become more or less impervious.

Also it’s interesting because Flak and bombing happen very
early. There was only 2 mins warning in Canterbury before the
bombs started falling....

Elias
I was thinking about that. Historically I think the weather was
10/10 cloud cover... probably we need to raise the altitude of
the clouds? In my initial play as many or more RAF sqns ducked
into clouds and escaped as Luftwaffe sqns.

Raising the cloud level will probably help.
