Mean results from the four plays so far:
       US Exit VP - 28 + 30 + 36 + 25 = mean 29.75
       German loss VP - 6 + 20 + 10 + 17 = mean 13.25
       US loss VP - 23 + 20 + 23 + 15 = mean 20.25
       Mean output is 22.75 VPs
Of these the most volatile seems to be the German losses. We'll
see what more test from Scott K brings in.

       Scenario: S32 Hohenjäger
       September 24, 2020
       Version: 0.3
       Playtesters: Scott Key, solitaire
       Report:
       - Game lasted 6 turns (ended due to loss of cohesion of
       attacking units)
       - There was 1 height error at set-up (for the Bf-109 Wing)
       - The Luftwaffe green counters were assigned to 2
       trailing/higher Bf-109G10 sqns.
       - Luftwaffe experte counters assigned to the Ta-152 sqn and the
       lead/low Bf-109G10 sqn
       - The veteran Luftwaffe counters were assigned to the same
       squadrons as the experten.
       - USAAF escorts were set up closer (lower and rearward) to the
       B-17s than last game.
       - USAAF still suffered from some low cohesion rolls, though not
       as much as last time.
       - One each of the Fw-190D & Fw-190A squadrons split
       - The idea was to overwhelm the P-51s with flights when possible
and desirable. Also to focus on overwhelming three B-17
squadrons rather than going after them all. This worked pretty
well. Despite the escorts splitting and successfully reacting to
several attacking flights four (there was an opportunistic tally
and attack on a fourth target in the last turn) of the targeted
B-17 squadrons were attacked and 2 disrupted.
       USAAF:
       order: +24vp; x2 B-17 sqns exited disrupted: +6 vp = +44 vp
       Luftwaffe: x5 P-51 fighters downed: -5 vp; x7 B-17s
       downed:-21vp= -26 vp
       Victory:
       Total: +18 vp
       Recommendations:
       - If cohesion rolls had been real high this could have lasted a
turn or two longer and it would have become a straight up
       massacre.
       - If the components allow, I would increase the P-51 split limit
to 6 or maybe even add an escorting flight. However it may be
enough just to bring the victory levels down.
       - The scenario is really good with lots of room for replay.

One thing about increasing split limits is that the scenario
does not have tactical flexibility, so only the wing can split.
Elias, did you see any necessity to permit more splits? I seem
to remember from the Alpha test we had to reduce the number of
       American bomber defenders.

Please. I could do with at least one more play in its current
       configuration.

       Scenario: S32 Hohenjäger
       October 3, 2020 (third play)
       Version: 0.3
       Playtesters: Scott Key, solitaire
       Report:
       - Game lasted 9 turns
       - There were no height errors at set-up
       - The Luftwaffe green counters were assigned to 2 leading/lower
       Bf-109G10 sqns.
       - Luftwaffe experte counters assigned to the Fw-190A8 sqn and
       the wing leader/high Bf-109G10 sqn
       - The veteran Luftwaffe counters were assigned to the Dora
squadron and the Br-109 Wing leader
       - There weren’t nearly as many German attacks on the B-17s (and
only a couple of where there wasn’t a defending P-51
       flight/sqn). 3 out of 4 B-17 cohesion checks were rolled 4s
(the other was a 5 modified to 4)
       - This scenario, more than most, really hinges on escort
placement and getting a successful reaction. If I was to play it
again I would put BOTH my veteran markers on escort sqns.
       - There’s a lot going on with the Sweep vs Bf-109 aspect of the
scenario and this time tje Luftwaffe won that fight, sending a
surviving green sqn in for a last turn attack on the Top B-17
box, disrupting a bomber sqn and depriving the US of 3 vp.
       USAAF:
       order: +18vp; x2 B-17 sqns exited disrupted: +6 vp; x1 B-17
       exited Broken: +1 vp= +37 vp
       Luftwaffe: x11 P-51 fighters downed: -11 vp; x2 B-17s
       downed:-6vp= -17 vp
       Victory:
       Total: +20 vp
       Recommendations:
       - This game felt better and would have been a high draw (31)
with average rolls. That seems off to me and I’d recommend
moving the US win level down a couple of points.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
So we’ve had two more plays since the last tot-up:
       US Exit VP - 28 + 30 + 36 + 25 + 30 + 25 = mean 29.0
       German loss VP - 6 + 20 + 10 + 17 + 14 + 12 = mean 13.16
       US loss VP - 23 + 20 + 23 + 15 + 26 + 17 = mean 20.6
Interestingly, those last two tests barely shifted the dial.
       Mean output is 21.56 VPs.
The final VP outputs for the tests are:
       Forrest 1 - +11
       Forrest 2 - +30
       Forrest 3 - +27
       Scott K 1 - +23
       Scott K 2 - +18
       Scott K 3 - +20
With the current victory levels that balances out at Americans
       0W 1D 5L.
Moving the draw window down, to 20 to 23 (a four-point draw
range) changes that balance to 2W, 2D, 2L, which looks like a
       much better balance.
Scott, I’d like to move you onto S31 Apache Marauders, and get
Jean to have a couple of plays of this. I shall rebalance the
draw window to the numbers above.

       Scenario: S32 Hohenjäger - Test 01
       Version: v0.4
       Playtester: Jean Foisy [Solo]
       Report:
       - Game lasted 10 turns
       - There were no height errors at set-up
       - The Luftwaffe Green counters were assigned to 2 leading/lower
       Bf109 G-10 sqns.
       - Luftwaffe Veteran counters assigned to the Ta 152H-1 sqn and
       FW 190D-9
       - The Experte Luftwaffe counters were assigned to the Ta 152 and
       Dora squadron Leaders
       Plans:
       - This is my first take of that scenario and I concentrated all
the Germans fighters on the bombers.
       - The German setup permits a "waves attack"; the 109s, then the
Doras and then Hohenjägers to finish the carnage.
       - The Defenders hoped to delay the German onslaught.
       Victory:
       US Bombers exit: 25 VPs ( 3 x Good Order [18vps], 2 x Disrupted
       [6vps], 1 x Broken [1vp])
       US enemies shot down: 15 VPs (1 x Ta 152, 3 x 190A8, 7 x 109G,
       4x D-9)
       US TOTAL= 40 VPs
       German enemies shot down: 40 VPs (12 x B-17G and 4 X P-51D)
       GERMAN TOTAL= 40 VPs
Scenario TOTAL: 0 VP; --> German Victory [Perceived Victory
Level: Germans; in the last 4 turns there were no P-51.
The remaining Dora and both Ta 152 hit the bombers hard.]
Recommendations: Some German attacks were extremely powerful.
Example: in Turn 09 I had a diving veteran Ta 152 sqn with an
additional Ta 152 flight hitting a bomber squadron.
Combat differential was a +4 combat when in would have been a
       +8.
From my limited experience I gathered those kind of odds being
       quite rare.
How about adding a + 1 modifier for every +2 over the +4
       differential limit?
       Best.
       Jean
