I'm not sure what makes you think that.
Also, this formulation doesn't quite work. A squadron that
starts adjacent in the Sun arc should be able to spend 2 MP
circling to position itself in the Sun and then move into the
target square.

So, let's go back to your formulation in Reply #16 above. It
looks like it covers the issue nicely, no?

Yeah, that one is working right now. With John Foley's suggested
change, it becomes:
(1) It entered the target square from a square in the Sun arc.
(2) In the Movement Phase that it enters the target square it
also enters at least two other squares that are in the Sun arc.
Each MP spent circling in the Sun arc counts as an additional
square entered.
How does that look, Vincent?

Also to me in the sentence above means "in addition", meaning
you would need to have entered two other squares in addition to
the one it entered the target from.

I don't quite get why you read it like that. The text only
refers to the target square and two other squares. I'm not sure
how you are inserting a fourth square--the square you move into
the target square from--in there. Surely the 'other' referred to
is 'other than the target square'.

Sorry, I see it now. Don't know why I didn't before :-). I think
the word other is what sets my mind off in the wrong direction,
since the target square isn't in the sun arc. I think the rule
actually becomes clearer if you remove other.

Now I see it, it sounts like the also and other refer to the
square mentioned in 1.

So remove those words and we get:
(1) It entered the target square from a square in the Sun arc.
(2) In the Movement Phase that it enters the target square it
enters at least two squares that are in the Sun arc. Each MP
spent circling in the Sun arc counts as an additional square
entered.
Is that tighter?

That looks tight and clear to me!

Coolio. We'll see if there's any other comment, but if not we'll
go with this.
