I feel an urge to flip rules to see if it's absolutely
impossible to dive bomb with torpedoes :-D

OK, so I see no way to fly the dive bombing profile loaded with
torpedoes, but if you are willing to accept the no aim penalty,
you could start a torpedo run at altitude 4 adjacent to the
target and do a hockey stick vertical torpedo run. Sadly, I
couldn't find a fighter with torpedo ability.

I have an as-yet unconfirmed report that Wing Leader: Supremacy
is out of stock at GMT.
I've just asked Gene and Tony for confirmation of this.

       TIME FOR A REPRINT 2ND EDITION!!!! :D :D :D

       Well, yes.
Of course my next task is to coax GMT into putting the
reprint/second edition on P500. I almost had an agreement back
at the beginning of the year, but Covid threw everything out the
window and now GMT are throttling their reprints. That’s clearly
not great. I don’t yet know how long I’ll have to wait on this
before they greenlight it again. It might be many months.
In the meantime I have to be judicious with how I talk about
this in public. I am happy to entertain the notion of a second
edition with the fans, but I must tread carefully. Until GMT say
'yes', my official position is that I really want a second
edition but it's now in GMT's gift to award me a 2e reprint.

Yeah, I thought that was well played on ConsimWorld: "Hmm, don't
know whether Supremacy is out of stock . . ." And then the
ever-intelligent Delnore speaks up for a reprint with up-to-date
ADCs. Which, of course, is exactly the point. At a suitable
moment I can say something like, "Well, if it's a go and they
ask me to work on it, I'm in." But it will mostly be a question
of how much the fans clamor for it. We can remind people that
Legends uses lots of aircraft from Supremacy. I know wargamers
see the logic of having the whole series in hand, soup to nuts.
Let the idea simmer now, while people are getting Origins in
       their hands.

I don’t think I was dissembling at any point. But yes, the fact
that we have this planned, that the art is largely done and all
that needs doing is some testing is not a thing I am advertising
       just yet.
And who knows: Origins and a surge in Legends pre-orders might
       help put pressure on GMT.

Agreed, not at all. You were testing the waters. The post was a
tap on this thing called the Wing Leader series to see whether
it rings like a bell. Ding! It does. At least for one person.
This was a way to gauge what the response might be absent any of
the supposedly relentless shilling people associate with WL
product announcements. It was a sonar ping to check baseline
       interest.
That's not to say that watching the conversation on CSW is even
as good as running a survey. But it gives some sense of whether
the idea of a second edition of Supremacy has traction.

Tony at GMT has confirmed that Supremacy is out of stock. We've
just recommenced discussion of the second edition. Nothing to
amnnounce yet. It depends on how this slots into their reprints,
as they don't like having too many on the boil in pre-order at
       any time.
