       Sweep & GCI

       In the L12 scenario the RAAF squadrons are under Sweep orders
       but have a (very good) GCI of 3. Since I don’t normally play
       with the defenders having Sweep orders AND GCI I am just a bit
       confused. (this wouldn’t have affected today’s play or results).
       1. The rules under Intercept state that a squadron is under GCI
       control if there is a GCI rating and the sqn is on the same
       radio net. Does this apply to Sweep squadrons?
       2. If yes and the GCI places a vector for a squadron on a Sweep
       mission does it change from Sweep and become Intercept?
       3. Can you please point me to relevant rules... maybe I am just
       missing something obvious...

       The scenario as originally written had the Spitfires with
       Intercept Missions.  I'm puzzled by sweeps and GCI as well as we
       have the same situation with the Japanese in scenario L09
       Valentine's Day Massacre.
