That last three plays in the current configuration have VP
outputs as follows:
Japanese Bombing - 1 + 15 + 10 = mean 8.6 VPs
Ocker losses - 4 + 2 + 6 = mean 4.0 VPs
Japanese losses - 12 + 15 + 5 = mean 10.6 VPs
Mean results are: 12.6 - 10.6 = +2.0
It looks as if we get VERY swingy results from this, in the
areas of Japanese bombing and losses. It’s hard to conclude
whether the draw window needs to be adjusted down on this basis.
More data is needed.
Forrest, could you please give me one more play for data? After
that I’ll move you on and ask someone else to harvest more data
on this. I think we’re close but need more numbers.

Yes, I have an idea for the Spits I want to try on this one.

3rd game
v 0.4
Solo
Japanese vets in bombers and one in an Oscar
with experte.
Aussie experte in M17.
2 height errors
FLAK- ineffective, not a plane shot down, did
affect 2 bomb runs.
BOMBING- 10 vp for the supplies, 1 hit by Helens,
finished off by the Lily. Didn't risk any strafings.
LOSSES- 2 x Oscar
2 points
2 x Spits
2 points
VICTORY- 12-2 (+10 Japanese, felt like Japanese
victory)
I split both of the top Spitfire
squadrons in an attempt overwelm the escorts with units. Didn't
work, 2 Spit flights were broken after 2 turns. The bottom Spit
had a height error to correct and blew a medium chance tally on
the Lily. The victorious Oscars came screaming down on him
quickly after that. Splitting is a chancy proposition without
vets.Flak had a bad day. I did another playing off this, which I
will post and give recommendations on.

4th game
v0.4
Solo
Japanese vets in bombers, one vet and experte
in an Oscar.
Spitfire experte in G12.
FLAK- nailed a Helen, disrupted and broke a
Helen.
BOMBING- 10 vp, but had to work to get that as
Helens whiffed. Lily had to bomb and strafe twice to get the
hits needed on the supplies.
LOSSES- 1 x Helen (FLAK)
5 x Oscar
7 points
7 x Spits
7 points
VICTORY- 17-7 (+10 for Japanese victory)
I tried something different with
the Spitfires as GCI rolls weren't going their way after two
turns. All 3 squadrons went after the Helens with 1 squadron
splitting. Didn't work out, either. The Lily managed to get the
supplies but it took the bomb run and 2 strafing runs to get it.
I think the Aussies may need an upgrade, a veteran would help or
cut back on a Japanese veteran by one. I do think the victory
point table is pretty good. A lot riding on the bomb/strafe
rolls on this one. A missed strafe on this run through would
have made this a draw. I like the scenario, plays fairly quick
and some tough decisions for the Aussies on how to get after the
bombers (split? go after Helens? Send 1 after the Lilies?).

The last five plays in the current configuration have VP outputs
as follows:
Japanese Bombing - 1 + 15 + 10 + 10 + 10 = mean 9.2 VPs
Ocker losses - 4 + 2 + 6 + 2 + 7 = mean 4.2 VPs
Japanese losses - 12 + 15 + 5 + 2 + 7 = mean 8.2 VPs
Mean results are: 13.4 - 8.2 = +5.2 which is right in our draw
zone.
I think that’s good enough for now.
Changes: I will shift the draw window to +4 to +5. I’m going to
mark this at beta for now.
Forrest, could you please move onto L15 Tussle Over Trapani?

I was hoping you would assign that one, it has Baltimores in
it, being born and raised there, it will be fun.
