I've fixed the Italian split limits and the half VPs in the
victory scoring.

Not a problem. This is why I try to get multiple sets of eyes on
things in the Alpha process.

Game 1
Vets and experte in lead MC 205. Greens in trailing MC205 and
G55 squadrons.
Vet and experte in P-38 squadron.
No GCI errors.
FLAK- shot down 1 B-24, caused 2 negative modifiers in
bombing.
BOMBING- 10 hits on factory, gained from 1 squadron, the other
5 missed entirely. Two squadrons broken and another disrupted.
LOSSES- 7 x B-24
2 x P-38
3 x MC205
6 x G55
POINTS- Italian 24
US 21
-3 Italian victory
Felt like Italian victory.
NOTES- Italians split MC-205 and G-55 squadrons that were
trained and veteran. Italians able to swarm the bombers on turn
2, and had some good luck with bad B-24 cohesion rolls. P-38
squadron that was veteran and had the experte broke early. I
think next go around I will put the vet in a bomber. Fun to
play. I think the victory point spread is dead on. Will play it
again and see how it shakes out.

2nd Game
Italian vet and experte in lead MC 205. Greens in trailing MC
205 and G55.
American vet in bomber, experte in lead P-38 escort.
No height errors.
FLAK- effective, killed 2 x B-24 and 1 P-38 and also caused a -1
on a bomb run.
BOMBING- 11 hits for 12 VP, 1 hit away from another 12 VP.
LOSSES- Italians
4 x MC205
4 x G55
Americans
8 x B-24 (2 from FLAK)
4 x P-38
VICTORY- 30 Italian VP
20 USA VP
-10 Italian victory (felt like Italian victory)
Game was closer than final spread. One more hit
on the factory would have netted another 12 VP. 2 squadrons
bombed while broken and another one was disrupted. If they get 1
more hit and 1 less FLAK loss, score would have been 32-27, +5
US (a draw). I need to figure out another way to defend the
B-24's, but some of that is missing a tally on the first turn.
Italians get tally and attack head on negating the escort
reaction. Italians had good luck on their first turn combats,
their veteran with the experte knocked down 3 B-24's on that
turn.
Excellent scenario, going to play this one again
tomorrow and see how it comes out. At this point, the VP spread
looks good.

3rd game
Italian vet and experte in lead MC 205. Greens in trailing
MC205 and G55.
American vet in bomber, experte in P-38. Adjusted escorts a
bit, all on top of B-24's.
No height errors.
Italians missed tally of turn 1.
FLAK- effective, getting 2 B-24's.
BOMBING- 13 hits on factory, netting 24 points. Only 1 bomber
bombed while disrupted.
LOSSES- B-24 x 4 (2 from FLAK)
P-38 x 3
MC 205 x 3
G 55 x 2
SCORE- USA 29
Italian 16.5
Net- +12.5 USA victory
Felt like USA victory.
Italians missed turn 1 tally roll, gave Americans
a turn to get tallies on turn 2. Italian head on passes not
nearly as effective as the last game. Bombing was good, which
proved the difference.
Recommend no changes, this one is one of the
better ones in the series.

Okay, let’s tabulate the last four tests:
US bombing - 12 + 12 + 12 + 24 = mean 15
Italian losses - 10 + 9 + 8 + 5 = mean 8
US losses - 18 + 24 + 30 + 16.5 = mean 22.13
This means an average score of +1
Results so far have been:
Elias 1 = +4.0
Forrest 1 = -3.0
Forrest 2 = -10.0
Forrest 3 = +12.5
I have to say that the swing in this game revolves very much
around the numbers of bomber losses. I am tempted to drop the
draw window, albeit slightly.

Forrest, would it please be possible to give L19 Wrath of the
Destroyers, the benefit of three plays? This is a big 'un, to be
sure.

Yes, will do.
Just looked at the set up...holy cow, 8 B-24 squadrons!
