Can you be a bit more quiet? Some of us in here are trying to
       finis Origins. :P

Oops sorry, I'll get me coat.
In other news, I did try ever so hard to piece together a
Hungarian eastern front scenario, but no dice. Their sorties
were generally small-scale operations, too small for Wing
Leader. However, I have been able to put together a scenario on
the 14 June 44 first success of the Hungarian 101 Fighter Group
as part of their home defence effort. It's a nice scenario to
complement Andrew's Budapest scenario in Eagles, and allows for
       more Hungarian Bf 109G counters.
I'll do a Bulgarian scenario next weekend.

So, I’m looking at the current scenario submissions just to see
what possible new ADCs are being proposed. (No, I am not
including the 633 Squadron scenario.) Currently on the list are:
       IK-3
       A-30 Baltimore
       A-36 Mustang/Apache
       Br.20 Cigogna
       G.55 Centauro
       Re.2002 Ariete
       Z.1007bis Alcione
That’s less than I thought it would be, and there’s some
interesting stuff in there. I feared it might overflow the
8-slot limit I’m trying to adhere to for Falcons, but so far I
       have a slot spare.
I have a decent Chinese scenario I could add, but it would add
three more ADCs to the list:
       P-26 Peashooter
       D1A 'Susie'
       E8N 'Dave'
These are kinda cool, but I have to balance them against the
other proposals, which are also cool and more WW2-ish.

If there is a slot for the Swedes, I could use, in order of
priority (that is, just the top one would still be great):
       P-35
       Northrop A17
       Ju86K
I still think a Phillipines scenario could be worked out for the
P-35 too, by some holistic design on the actions on the 8-10 dec
       in the Philippines.

You know how this works, Elias. You gotta make me a scenario
       with a P-35.
There’s now some competition for slots. The reason I haven’t yet
thrown in my Chinese scenario is because it requires too many
ADCs. What’s more, a bunch of interwar Japanese stringbags are
far less interesting than some of the other things on the red
list - in particular the Italian bombers, which offer a lot of
bang for buck if we’re trying to set up future
       scenario-builders.
So, if you want the P-35, make me a scenario, and make it good.
‘Cuz if you don’t I’ll find some way to crowbar the Su-2 into
       that final slot. :)

I won't make the effort if I know there is enough other stuff
you rather want to have in the expansion. I can make the Swedish
scenario without the P-35. A Re.2000 will take its place.

There's some first quarter 1943 actions where sizeable numbers
of US 4FG Spitfires escorted RAF Ventura's. This would give us
the excuse to add US themed Spits to the counter mix. Would need
Ventura art and ADC as well.
Or if that's not possible, there are a few missions the
Spitfires escorted 8BC B-17s and B-24s. This would be a nice
early war counterbalance to the 1944 8AF themed scenarios
       already published.
If either is even possibility, I'll come up with a scenario.

I had submitted a US Spit IX scenario, but it was very small and
only had one squadron of them. I think a bigger one would be
       better if you have one.
I just sent in my Malta convoy strike scenario which throws
Beauforts and Beaufighters into the ADC mix.

       I don't think it's a case of what I'd rather have. It's more
that I have backup plans - multiple backups, in fact - which
currently include a Russian light bomber, a Royal Navy aircraft
       and an obscure Czech fighter.
One of the things about submissions from others is their
capacity to suprise and delight. Gordon and Andrew have both
managed to make a strong case for certain aircraft simply by
submitting cool scenarios on things I don't have reference for.
Scott Spencer has pulled out some corkers that I didn't know
were possible. I didn't believe that scenarios with G.55s and
Re.2002s existed, but he rolled up his sleeves and dug them out
       from god-knows-where!
So I'm looking for someone to surprise me. If you've got a cool
       Swedish counterfactual which adds Re.2000s I'd love to see it;
particularly if it also provides an excuse to have a bunch of
existing aircraft in Swedish schemes. Plus you're my most
fiendish tester, so I expect a really well-constructed and
       interesting scenario.
So please, go for it. You are the best-qualified person to make
       it.

I've just submitted a sixth scenario, which kinda gets the
scenarios I wanted to make out of my system.
I'm mostly focussed on the example of play in the coming weeks,
but if I find time I'll start to add in other submissions to the
file. I'm taking two or three of Javier's remaining Spanish
scenarios and then starting to plug in Scott's.
Come November I'll be looking from submissions from the rest of
you. I'd love to see Elias's Swedish scenario, and I know gordon
will have some things in the locker. We'll talk about thee more
in November. In the meantime I want to try and get the EoP done
and drafted, which is a monumental art task.
