I can pick up the Ceylon raid scenario. But to be honest I won't
be focussing on doing any of that work for at least a couple of
months.

Looking through the mass of submitted material, most of it
submitted by the Scotts, we're starting to accumulate a decent
number of scenarios. At some stage I hope to prod Gordon into
coming up with some Pacific content. Plus there's the scenario
I'm setting aside to do myself.
I suspect we won't have much trouble filling a scenario book
now, even if we limit numbers of scenarios to the upper teens.

If you want more Swedes, I'm happy to submit a scenario or two.
I have a German 1943 invasion scenario drafted and just need to
type it up, more or less. It would include the Nothrop A17,
Re.2000 (so you get actual Falcos in the Falcons expansion) and
if you want it a bunch of Ju86K:s coukd show up. This one isn't
highly likely to have happened, but we do have the German case
study for it which means it is fairly well grounded in oob and
planning.
I have an idea for Swedes vs Soviets in 1944 based on the
counterfactual of The SU occupying Finland, Sweden garrisoning
the Åland islands and the Soviets attacking Finnish refugee boat
convoys. And one for Churchill's hare-brained plan to occupy the
Swedish ore fields in 1940. I have a sneaking suspicion that
last one would feature Gladiators on both sides.

I think the thing to do is to make it and then we can review it
when we start to go through all the submissions.
Note that we have to be careful with adding new aircraft, as ADC
slots for Falcons will be severely limited. However, the Swedes
use a lot of existing ADCs, so that should make things easier.

A Soviet-Japanese counterfactual in August of 1945 would not be
much of a stretch. The two sides did fight, it just seems the
Japanese only flew a small number of ground attack missions. It
would not add any ADCs unless P-63s were thrown in.

Lee,
I’ve got two more headed your way (one i wrote you about) in
the next few weeks. Both in the Med, late War. Not sure if
either is doable or not (for completely different reasons)...

At this early stage just send 'em in. Let's have a butchers' and
see what you've got.

I've got three late war Reich defense scenarios I am working on:
1. RAF daylight raid on December 5, 1944 on the Soesti Rail
yards in Germany.
2. Ta 152H squadron involved in an intercept of American bombers
March 2, 1945. Ta 152s only flew two missions against American
bombers, both in March.
3. Operation Werwolf April 7, 1945. The mass ramming attack by
143 stripped-down Me 109s piloted by minimally trained
volunteers. They did better than one would rightly expect.
There also was a number of Me 262s involved as well but they
were not coordinated.
I have some rough special rules for the ramming attacks, not
sure how viable the scenario would be though.

I'd hold off on RAF daylight heavy raids at the moment, because
I am reserving them to myself for a future date.
The Ta 152 scenario sounds great. Was there an action of this
size? (I don't have Caldwell to hand.)
The werewolf scenario sounds like an experiment, but it's
unusual enough to merit a try. Give it a go!

I'll hold off on the RAF one then, I seem to recall you had
something in mind for them. There were mentions in Caldwell of
the Ta 152 on March 1st and 2nd 1945. On the 2nd a full
squadron from JG 301 was involved flying top cover for an attack
on B-17s. They scored no kills or suffered any losses. It
sounds like they were accidentally attacked by Me 109s who
mistook them for Mustangs. The History Channel did a show on
the ramming attacks. Here is a link to it.
