RE medium bombers, the A-26 (renamed B-26) was used through Viet
Nam to include Korea.

Yes, but not to be confused with the B-26 Marauder in the game.
It seems the Marauders were all gone by 1948.

How did I miss the fact that there's no A-26 in the current ADC
deck? Yes, the Marauders were retired by 1947 so when the USAF
was established they redesignated the A-26 as B-26. But people
still put Marauder images on Invader counters in Korean War
games (he fumed).
The idea of 1948-proofing the ADCs seems sound if there's enough
room on the cards. The one other existing ADC that might need it
off the top of my head is the Me 262 of all things: the Czechs
built about a dozen of them postwar as the Avia S-92, though
that's only a designation note, not a variant. (And looking up
that designation I see that the Czechs called the Pe-2 the B-32
after the war.)
I can think of some aircraft to add to your list of potential
additional ADCs for 1945-48, including
Brigand (though this only served East of Suez I think so could
be ignored?)
Firebrand (or you could pretend it didn't exist, like a Star
Wars prequel)
Skyraider (would take a brave man to ignore it)
P-82 (originally was to be a daylight VLR escort fighter)
P-84 (jet, troubled)
F7F (crowd favorite)
FH Phantom (smallish numbers built so it'd be a stretch)
J 21A (worth including just for the art)
Fiat G.55 (interesting b/c the Egyptians were flying them in
1948)
Avia S.199 (they can fight the G.55s)
Yak-17 (jet)
Pushing into the second half of 1948 would catch a number of
introductions including the Banshee, B-36, B-50, and Yak-23. A
cut off date before that might make sense.

Thanks for the note on the Me 262.
I also forgot the P-15H Mustang, and the Mosquito B.16.
I left out the Yak-17 because it seems to have been used only as
a trainer. Of course the La-15 and MiG-15 turn up in the spring
of 1949. . .

The Israelis flew some late model Me-109s too. Good for
scenarios taking place during the 1948 war.

If I remember correctly, the Israelis flew S-199s, which were
Czech-built Bf 109G airframes with Jumo 211 engines. They had
very nasty handling characteristics.

You do get some nifty planes in the immediate postwar years. I
don't know if a postwar expansion will ever actually seem worth
the trouble but the idea of a Sea Fury ADC does hold some
appeal.
And it would be fun to see a game in which a Meteor was the
hottest thing in the sky.
