-pi/4 means that you are rotating your terminal arm clock-wise
(opposite direction of usual rotation) by pi/4.
Then what is the related acute angle inside of the triangle?
Then figure out how much you have to rotate your terminal arm to
get to that angle. It should be 7pi/4.
So one is cot7pi/4. Another one is located where cot is negative
since cot is negative in the last quadrant.
So it will be the second quadrant and it gives the angle of
3pi/4. Then we have cot3pi/4.
So the answer is cot7pi/4 and cot3pi/4.
The key is that we only play with the angle without changing
anything else.

Remember that thw area with 13pi/18 is portion of the whole
circle. So find the ratio between the 13pi/18 and 2pi, then that
will be thw same ratio between the whole circle and the portion

1a) y = sinx-5
I got the graph drawn correctly, but for the maximum i got -4 at
-pi and for the minimum i got -6 at pi.
The answers were different in the answer book
Same problem for part b

Remember when sine graph reaches max? It is not pi.
Also for minimum, it's not pi either..
Here is my lead. What is sin(pi/2)??
You figure this out then u will figure the question you asked.
