       find k.

       4a) (x²-3x-7)(x-2) + R = x³-5x²-x-10
       to solve you do x³-5x²-x-10 divided by (x-2) and get r

       to solve you do x³-5x²-x-10 divided by (x-2) and get r

       x+2, x= -2
       (-2)³+k(-2)²-4(-2)+2=26
       -8+4k+8+2
       =2+4k = 26
       now find k.

       R = 26.
       x = -2.
       26 = (-2)^3+k(-2)^2-4(-2)+2
       Isolate k

       Sorry I dont have the book with me so I wont be able to answer
       it until I get home...but I believe I told three times what the
       hw is and wrote it on the board. Didnt u copy them???
