On the Swings (Afternoon, open)

Nicolina sat quietly up in the tree, her twin green ponytails
swaying with the breeze as she listened to many children play
below her along with listening out for her younger brother. She
relaxed and let her senses go free A nice day, no trouble, no
demons attacking the city or anything...and I suppose no other
Guardian has lost there Key or even worse demons would've
started cropping up." she thought happily and closed her eyes.
The young reborn guardian wondered when she would run into any
other Guardians, whether they would be one of the other 4 main
ones or perhaps one of the lesser ones. She sighed at the brief
thought and pushed herself back to relaxing We'll find each
other when the time is right I suppose..."

"Hehehe how fortunate, it seems the little Guardian has let her
guard down. The others that have awakened have only been dealing
with small fry, but soon we will have the Keys and destruction
will be ours!" high above the park floated a young boy. A
mischieveious grin formed and a pale hand stroked the plush
bunny in his arms. "I think it's time we remind this world that
danger lurks everywhere. Neh Usa-chan?!" giggling childishly the
boy took his hat off and a small black fairy came floating out.
"Jester-sama I assume you wish for me to attack?" The silky
voice of the fairy asked, her black wings fluttered happily at
the thought of attacking the pleasant scene below. "Yes, try not
to cause too much damage. Master Damion wants us to lure them
all together into this one city. Then our fun can truly begin.
Do not drag this battle to the night, this little Guardian is
weakest in the day, but the night will make her powers grow"
Jester instructed. Placing his hat back atop his head he
vanished in a swirl of black cards.
The black fair smiled, growning until she was the size of a
young woman, her short dark blue hair was pulled back in a short
ponytail at the nape of her neck. Hand extended black energy
began to form in front of her. "One warning shot little
Guardian. Let us see if you really are as strong as the legends
say." she muttered and shot the energy at one of the tallest
trees, destroying it and leaving a crater in the ground. She
smirked as she heard the distressed screams rise up to her ears
and the frantic fleeing of the parks occupants.

Her eyes snapped open, feeling the energy come crashing down on
the park before she could stop it. The shock wave sent her
tumbling down from her branch to land on her back in one of the
bushes at the base of the tree, groaning she rubbed the back of
her head. "Tch so much for a relaxing day in the park." she
muttered softly and rolled out of the bush. She quickly looked
around, spotting the crater a few feet away she frowned "No one
was over there, that attack was a warning. Damn the enemy must
be somewhere in the clouds Nicolina thought and dashed off to
find her brother and make sure the other civilians evacuated the
area.

The fairy laughed, her energy charged up for her second attack.
"No more games kid. Time to get down to business!" she shot two
more bolts of energy, now aiming to destroy and kill anyone
foolish enough to get in her way.

The young guardian smiled in relief when she caught sight of her
brother, grabbing his arm she spun him around to face her "Dante
head home. It's too dangerous to stick around, if you see any
younger kids trailing about lead them out of the park. I'll meet
you home." she got out, kissing the younger on the top of his
head she shoved him off just in time to get thrown back by a
bolt of black energy. She heard her brother yell her name and
she waved him off from her position trapped in another bush.
Nicolina jumped to her feet, pulling twigs out her hair she
glared up at the sky "Damn it you're gonna pay for messing up my
day, and almost hurting my brother!" she yelled.
Pulling her hair down from its twin ponytails she smirked while
a dark blue energy began to surround her body. "You chose the
wrong girl to mess with. I am Selene, Guardian of the Realm of
Endless Nights!" the energy vanished, leaving the girl in her
Guardian state. She flipped a lock of white hair out her face
and cracked her knuckles "You don't stand a chance now!" jumping
onto the nearest branch she loaded her crossbow and aimed up at
the sky.

"Ha silly girl. You won't be able to hit me at all. You have no
power to attack during the day and without being able to see me
your puny arrows will jsut hit the air!" laughing the fairy drew
back and shot multiple black energy bolts. Making sure the other
wouldn't be able to pinpoint where the attacks were coming from.

She jumped down, dodging the bolts as she weaved through the
sparse amount of trees around the park. Due to the multiple
directions the bolts were coming from she was unable to pinpoint
a location. Damn I can't use my sword, I don't have a target to
hit and right now my powers can't be used properly....tch how
annoying. I need to focus. she thought and pressed her back
against the tree. Eyes shut she held her crossbow loosely in her
hands. "Even if they come from different directions the target
has to be stationary...they originate somewhere...but where?"
she muttered.

She stopped, she could sense the Guardian was still alive, but
hiding herself in the trees. "Unlike that brat I don't enjoy
these childish games." she said, raising both hands energy began
to swirl around her. Collecting in the air above her to a form a
spinning orb of black power.

She looked up at the sky, seeing the attacks had stopped she
dashed out and hopped onto the metal bars of the broken swing
set. She felt the energy radiating and aimed up in the direction
it was coming from.

"Nero ran as fast as he could. the dark energy he was feeling
was coming from a location of a known guardian. Nero came to a
skidding halt, finally reaching the playground. he noticed the
destruction and bit his lip" is she still alive? "nero looked
around and finally caught site of the guardian" good....now
wheres the enemy?
