The Princes Return (morning, open)

A black gate opened on the roof of the apartment complex. "I did
not anticipate it taking me so long to return." Damion muttered,
dusting off his clothes as the gate sealed shut behind him. He
glanced out over the city, already he could tell the difference
in the air with Aku gone for good.

A few long moments after Damion appeared on the roof, the door
leading to the apartment complex interior opened. Out of the
doorway walked Loki. Looking slightly more discheveled than
normal, his gaze settled on Damion. [i]"I thought I felt you
return." His voice came out cold, a different air surrounding
him.

The voice brought him out of his thoughts, turning around he saw
it was Loki. "Yes, my business took longer than I expected. It
seems the absence of myself, Dracon and our fathers has led the
underworld into several uprisings. All handled." he said, taking
in the others appearance with a frown. "What has happened Loki?"
he questioned stepping towards him.

Loki crossed his arms and nodded. [i]"I had wondered what had
kept you, but I guess I cannot say that situation surprises me."
Loki ran his hand through his hair. [i]"Well you left us to
deal with the brat child. The plan was set in motion......and
was carried out. Though not without several unforeseen
complications." He looked away from Damion as he spoke, looking
off into the distance.

"And those unforeseen complications? Whatever has happened while
I was gone has you upset." he said.

Loki turned his gaze back to Damion. [i]"The guardian of
Lights, she had turned to Aku as well. We didn't plan to deal
with her on top of Sebastian's human and the Guardian of Night.
She did more damage than I would have expected.......and she
killed Jester." His eyes were cold, his voice laced with acid
at the mention of the girl. [color=steelblue][i]"If she was not
needed now, nor needed to stop aku, her life would be mine."

His eyes darkened at the news and several black flames formed
behind his back "I see." he muttered tightly. His gaze flickered
over to Dracon before settling back on Loki. "I am sorry...I
should have stayed and perhaps things would not have turned out
like this. Her key shall be the first we take, afterwards you
may take her life to avenge Jesters." he added, knowing that was
all he could offer.

"That won't be easy, considering others might protect each
other... Especially the fact that guardian of dawn allowed
jester to dies if he didn't focuse on keeping the females
guradians alive by protecting aku." Sebsatian spoke softly after
appearing at the edge of the roof his expression hidden. To
himself, the guardian of light and new life were most threat,
since mitsuki was very smart, and roka with his shields.

Loki's tension lightened slightly as he felt the prince's dark
flames appear behind him. At Damion's words a fiery spark shone
in the eldest tricksters eyes, while he ran his hand through his
hair. [i]"You had to go. Looking at the what ifs will not
bring him back, pondering that does nothing to progress our
position." At the sound of sebastian's comment, his eyes
snapped to the other, hatred in his eyes. [i]"Taking her key
first will happen, and would be the right path in my eyes.
Whether it is easy or difficult, will not matter. Her key will
belong to us, and as soon as her life is not needed to
continue....it won't. I shall take it with my own two hands."
His resolve was firm as he spoke as he settled his eyes back on
Damion.
