nero stayed silent and hugged her back. he had nothing to back
up his argument, it did seem like allies made things
harder.......nero kissed the top of her head and closed his eyes
"alright sleep time........"

As time was going late into the morning a loud banging sounded
from the front door to the apartment. "Open this door right
now!" Dante shouted. Nicolina was in the kitchen cooking
breakfast, ignoring the shouting as she hummed and made a pot of
tea.

nero was doing sit ups as the door was banged on "oh i wonder
who that could be" he said sarcastically and sat up "i guess i
have to answer it huh!?" he smiled at nicolina as he asked the
question and opened the door "and how is my favorite brother in
law"

As soon as the door opened Dante shoved past him and dashed to
the kitchen. "Brother in law eh? Then I guess you better say hi
to your new father in law as well." a deep voice said, leaning
against the wall across from the door stood the tall form of
Nicolina's father. Shaggy black hair fell down to his shoulders,
and dark green eyes glared at him. Beside him stood her mother,
smiling happily "It is wonderful to see you again dear." she
said, carrying a stack of books she headed into the apartment,
pausing to give Nero a quick kiss on the cheek. "Do not mind my
darling Alex, he likes to act tough but he's just a big teddy
bear." she turned toward her husband. "Lexy play nice." she
warned. Alexander shot a glare at her back as she walked inside,
blushing at the use of her pet name for him.

neros eyes widened and heart sunk at the voice that could only
be nicolinas father. even with the calming kiss and words from
nicolinas mother nero just stared at him "........i wonder if
the window is open upstairs......" he thought in fear a plan of
escape

He pushed off the wall "Now then boy lets have a quick chat
before we join the others inside." he said, he reached past him
to shut the door. "I am Alexander Nyx, Claudias husband, ex
military and more importantly Nicolinas father. I don't know
what you did to seduce my baby panda to live here but i'm here
to find out. You may have charmed my wife but you won't be
fooling me.

if nero backed away any harder against the wall he would be
outside. he shook his head nervously, then nodded unsure of what
to say or do "i d-did nothing at all sir, she likes me and i
like her s-sir" nero gulped loudly "i-i mean i did nothing a-at
all to your daughter sir while she stayed sir" nero said
nervously and tried to stand at attention since he was ex
military "believe it or not-t sir b-but i am a complete
g-gentlem-man who has the greatest love and respects for your
daughter sir"
