Nicolina sent her brother a short message telling him she was
fine and back at Neros. Once it was sent she turned the phone
off and dropped on the couch beside her. She pulled her legs up,
curled beneath her she rested her head on the back of the couch
and sighed. "Can I really stay here...couldn't even lay in the
bed without...without seeing her in it." she brushed her hair
out her face and looked at the stairs. She heard the shower
running.

nero's shower was brief. once clean he stepped out of the shower
and wrapped a towel around his waist. water lightly dripped from
his hair and arms. rummaging through his dresser he found some
black shorts and put them on. still slightly wet he made hsi way
down the stairs. his first glance was to the kitchen expecting
nicolina to still be there. not seeing her he raised an eyebrow
and looked around. hsi eyes finally settled on her on the couch

She watched him come down the stairs and saw him look around
when he didn't see her in the kitchen. A slight frown on her
face as his gaze settled on hers "You'll catch a cold if you
don't dry your hair off properly."

softly "you think so? i've never been one to catch colds"

She rolled her eyes "Either dry your hair off or come sit down
with a towel so I can dry it off before I catch a cold."

drying his hair off.

"Yes, lazy." she muttered and kept drying. "I suspect we'll have
an angry visitor tomorrow. How did you explain my absence to my
brother, I assume it was some odd made up thing you crafted."
