sable didn't know what to do. he hadn't lost nicolina
completely....nor did he have her. sable gritted his teeth "i am
a guardian he is a demon, we do not coincide and we do not help
one another unless it benefits one or the other. one of us has
to die" sables eyes glowed purple with reassurance. he gripped
his weapons again and took up a stance "i will not hurt my
fellow guardians...no matter how they have turned against me.
but i will maneuver"

Haruko's eyes narrowed on the other two guardians. "Problems
cannot be allowed to continue to pose challenges to the end
goal. They must be eradicated rather than be left alone to
fester." Her grip tightened on her spear as she summoned fire
disks and sent them Sable.

She quickly cut through the attacks with her sword "As you can
see Nicolina a line has been drawn and you must choose, him or
us." Aku said, standing contently behind Haruko. She looked at
them "Then I choose Nero." she said. He sighed "Well then I
can't leave you with the powers I've given, I must say I'm very
disappointed. Stand down Mitsuki. I believe we're done here for
now. We can't force her to stand by us nor should we. Now come
here so I can remove the contract we made." she sighed in relief
and walked over "You stand down as well Nero he's going to
leave..."

The flames around Mitsuki's spear disappeared. Told to stand
down she lowered the weapon, yet still kept a firm grip on it.

sable glared at aku with his glowing but did as asked. his form
returned to nero and his weapons disappeared

She stopped in front of Aku who took her hand and turned it over
"I believe you'll live to regret this choice dear Nicolina." he
said and made a small cut with a dagger. A black seal floated
out of the wound, vanishing into his hand. She nodded and
stepped back, "Well Mitsuki I believe we should take our leave
now." he said, and smiled in the direction of the other girl. So
say goodbye to your friend in the manner we discussed before
leaving." he turned and began to walk away. "After all we can't
let traitors like that roam free without a form of punishment
and I think death is the best one." he muttered

Mitsuki nodded as Aku walked towards her. Quietly she walked
towards Nicolina, her darkened teal eyes watching the other
guardian. "Goodbye Nicolina. I am sorry that things didn't
quite work out." She said quietly to the other. In the second
of silence the shine of metal tore through the others abdomen,
the tearing of flesh a stark comparison to the quiet of the
forest. A moment later the blood would begin to pour from the
wound as the guardian of light's spear twisted back out of her
opposite.

Surprised the other was bothering to say goodbye she stood there
and allowed her to come closer not suspecting the harm she'd do.
As the other bid her farewell she was about to reply but it died
on her lips at the sudden pinching she felt at her abdomen.
Nicolina looked down and a burst of pain followed as she saw the
blood rapidly seeping from the wound the other had just created,
a shocked gasp left her and she stumbled back.

nero began to walk over to nicolina and mitsuki to say a few
words before she departed. his eyes grew wide at the sight of
mitsukis spear ripping through nicolinas abdomen. as she
stumbled back nero caught her in his arms and held the bleeding
wound tightly "no.....nononono" nero repeated over and over
purple energy covered his body and he became sable. he looked
over to mitsuki with tears falling from his glowing eyes "how
could you?" he half growled half spoke

Cold darkened teal eyes watched the tears fall from Sable's.
Stepping back and holding her spear still, she shifted back to
Haruko, shadowed wings twitching behind her as she watched him.
"Problems cannot be allowed to remain unchecked until they are
too big to deal with." She shrugged softly as she stepped in
the direction of Aku.
