of them as well." she stated but a brief flicker of emotion
passed through her eyes, hurt and sadness, before vanishing
again.

Shocked she stood there for a few seconds before reluctantly
kissing him back.
"So this is where you've run off to Nicolina. I must say I am
not impressed." Aku said, somewhat amused as he stepped out of a
swirl of leaves on the other side of the area. Internally
frowning, he had felt his hold on her waver and had come to
investigate but seeing who she was with he wasn't surprised.
She instantly yanked herself away from and moved back til she
was a safe distance away.

Aku narrowed his eyes Hm it seems something will have to be done
about this.. he thought and looked over at her. He strengthened
the contract between them and smiled as the few emotions in her
eyes died away.
